Infused with notes of grapefruit and black pepper, this unisex blend is so distinguished we think it deserves a Michelin star (or two). Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses fresh fruity and floral notes to transform a base of musky Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is totally addictive. Think of it as molecular perfumery.
Very pungent and not suited to me. The smell was overpowering and would not go away despite being wiped with warm water2
I would not consider this to be a "patchouli" scent, anymore than I would consider a "white chocolate, skim, no whip mocha" to be a coffee. Sure, the ingredient is in there (somewhere), but you'd be hard-pressed to identify it. The scent is light, with a refreshing citrus tone, but will not wear through the day; it is an Eau de Cologne.2
The smell was a little much for me. I had my girlfriend smell it on me and give me her opinion, it wasnt a positive one. I think for the cost there are better things out there. It is a good attempt, just was too much for me.2
Didn't feel the scent was me. Although it was somewhat light/ not over powering it just wasn't for me.2
Maybe, if you can stand the smell of patchouli, you'd like it. But I'd even think it'd be too strong for some who like the smell.2
I don't mind this product. I think that it's a fun warm weather smell and so I'll probably use the whole sample as the weather where I live is getting into the warmer days again, but I don't love the fruity scent enough to spend the $ on it. It's certainly not an all-purpose smell and the hints of patchouli that sometimes waft through are not what I prefer to smell.2
This is my opinion alone. I personally do not enjoy any of the Patchouli scents. This product is just not my thing. So props to those who like Patchouli - those who don't will share my opinion - and those that are on the border I would seriously recommend trying out or at least looking for the scent to try before making a commitment to buying it.2
It is an alright cologne but it is not something I would use all the time. But it smells alright3
The smell was unique, but pleasant. I am a fan of the patchouli scent. I would wear this regularly, but not excited about the overall price.3
This seemed like an alright fragrance. The pepper seemed to come through pretty strong to me, so I'm not a big fan.3
