Infused with notes of grapefruit and black pepper, this unisex blend is so distinguished we think it deserves a Michelin star (or two). Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses fresh fruity and floral notes to transform a base of musky Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is totally addictive. Think of it as molecular perfumery.
If you don't like Patchouli, this is a no-go. That's part of the problem with strong fragrances, they're very polarizing.1
I tend to collect lots of cologne throughout the year and this one is not one of my favorities. I do like it and have nothing against it but it wasn't for me. Definitely worth giving it a try if you're looking for something new4
Not what I expected at all when I read patouli in the name. Very nice scent. And lasts a while.4
I'm just not into the scent, despite the fact that it isn't patchouli dominated (as the title might lead some to believe). There are better smells out there for less money.4
Smells amazing. Wish samples were a bit bigger will buy this one in big suze5
My profile distinctly asks for no fragrance samples and yet I get them monthly and hate each one. This one is as awful as the other from this brand I had a few months back1
But I probably won't purchase it for my hunny. He just doesn't wear cologne5
I received a sample of this in my box 2 years ago and always meant to get it. I finally did and I love it. It's the the right strength. The spray comes out very fine and in a small amount so it took a bit to figure out how much to use, but that's the case with any new scent.5
I really like fragrances but have an issue with most available in stores b/c I am attracted to colognes that all smell the same (kind of peppery). I won't mention other big brand names but i had a 3 or 4 that were only slightly different and my wife would complain that I always smelled the same. Then came my Birchbox and all the boutique brand cologne samples. My prior knowledge of patchouli was that it was reserved for Grateful Dead and Phish concert attendees. I am not going to try to one up the product description but know that if you're looking for a scent that is different yet sophisticated, try this one.5
I love the way this smells on my skin. It's not overtly loud like other fragrances, but it wears close to the skin. Warm and inviting, fresh and chic.5
