Infused with notes of grapefruit and black pepper, this unisex blend is so distinguished we think it deserves a Michelin star (or two). Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses fresh fruity and floral notes to transform a base of musky Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is totally addictive. Think of it as molecular perfumery.
With all perfumes, I think it really comes down to scent preferences. This smelled pretty good to me but I'm not a huge patchouli fan. It also seemed to fall a little more on the cologne side than the perfume--almost manly.
However, I'm glad to have the sample vial of this in my purse because its strong scent is great if I, say, spill coffee on me and want to cover the scent.
I absolutely loved this scent! I have not had a patchouli cologne before and it was just fabulous. Not overwhelming but different and wonderful5
I don't normally care for patchouli, but this scent is incredible. Very masculine and not overpowering...plus, the scent stays with me through the course of the day.4
I purchased Ateliers Mistral Patchouli, although on the high price range, I loved the sample and received more compliments. The French really know their scents, its natural seductive scent stays with you but not in an overly strong way. Glad I bought it. You have to treat yourself once in a while.5
This scent is very masculine and it stays with me all day, not overpowering, too musky or too sweet. When i heard it was grapefruit infused I was a little worried but this scent in definitely for men4
I have never been a fan of Patchouli so when I received this I wasn't thrilled. Then, I tried it out. I absolutely love this! It's a subtle, long lasting fragrance that is very masculine. I will definitely be buying a bottle.5
I like this cologne it has a nice winter feel to it. The only thing I did not enjoy was that it did not last all day.
When I received a sample of this product, I was a little hesitant at first only because Patchouli can be overbearing; that was not the case with this cologne! Atelier has a rich and warn smell that encompasses all that is man; if it were a picture, it would have to that of an old school barber shop with everyone from the cast of Mad Men. The scent seems to last forever. It doesn't fade like some other colognes, so you know you're always smelling good. I am surprised though, to find that this is unisex...5
I love the smell of this stuff as well as my girlfriend which is always plus. However, I feel as if the scent doesn't last through the day and is eventually inexistant after a few hours.4
I like the smell of it. Its not over powering. I like it a lot. I will have to buy some.4
