Infused with notes of grapefruit and black pepper, this unisex blend is so distinguished we think it deserves a Michelin star (or two). Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses fresh fruity and floral notes to transform a base of musky Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is totally addictive. Think of it as molecular perfumery.
I don't normally wear cologne, but have started since I get one per birchbox, which lasts me more than the month until the next one. This has been my favorite thus far. The scent is very light, but not too subtle. My wife is very sensitive to smells, perfumes, colognes, etc. and enjoys this without finding it overpowering. Nice light fennel and citrus aftertones.4
For me I am more of a guy that likes a sweeter smell, this was more like a old fashion smell3
I normally do not like the Fragrances sampled, but the Atelier Cologne Mistral Patchouli Cologne Absolue appealed to me. It wasn't too musky and wasn't over powering. I can wear this fragrance and enjoy the subtle manly smell.4
I am really a fan of this brand and their scents. However I am not a fan of their prices. I really like the scent but not enough to spend that kind of money for it4
I have received several fragrances from this brand and this one has been my favorite.4
This item smelled like something my grandfather would wear. I wouldn't recommend it for a 20 something.2
I see some other reviews out there that are lower. No idea why. It's a good smell.4
I liked this cologne but for the price there are other colognes that I like better.4
I was expecting a heavy/hippy vibe from the title but the scent is light with a lot of bright citrus on top and then settles into a great earthy/slightly sweet patch at the bottom. Wife loves it. My favorite Atelier so far.5
This is sweet, green scent. I can smell the star anise accord. Not a bad scent, but not something that I prefer on me. May work better on a woman.3
