Infused with notes of grapefruit and black pepper, this unisex blend is so distinguished we think it deserves a Michelin star (or two). Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses fresh fruity and floral notes to transform a base of musky Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is totally addictive. Think of it as molecular perfumery.
When the description said that it was spicy, it wasn't lying. The scent is a little strong for my tastes but it's different from any fragrances I've ever sniffed or tested. There's nothing floral or delicate or fruity (those are my preferences) about it. But it's different in a way that I kind of like, sort of exciting. The scent is sharp and not assaulting, but there's a serious woah moment in there. It's sassy and biting and rather sexy.4
This is so different from scents I usually buy (floral, fresh, etc) and I love it! It lasts throughout the day and I think smells better the longer it's been on.4
I agree with the comments that it's more of a mature sent.. I love the musky earthy tones in this, it's a good balance. It's not something i wear everyday i use lighter sent for that but for real special events this is my new go to sent.4
The scent of this product was too earthy for me and was also very strong; it gave me a headache.1
I really liked this fragrance as a change of pace from my normal flowery preference. It is much more rich and earthy, which is great for a fancy dinner date.4
I felt like this was more for men than women. It had a stronger smell1
I did not like the smell at all, i thought it was way too musky and strong1
This smells great and the scent lasts all day. I also love the little postcard that came with it!5
Patchouli is not my scent at all I guess, because I can't stand the scent of this. It is very powerful though so I'm guessing if you do like the scent, you'll be happy with its staying power and intensity..1
A very warm scent. Too warm and heavy especially for my tastes in the summer. I definitely think it could pass as a unisex scent, but I just don't like it on me so much.2
