If we had three beauty wishes, we’d go for killer cheekbones, glowing skin, and a professional lighting crew wherever we went. Since not all daydreams end happily ever after, we rely on this wondrous product instead. A beauty editor fave, Benefit’s Sun Beam is a golden bronze highlighter that subtly defines and contours your features.
benefit Sun Beam is applied to your skin w a brush similar to that of nailpolish. i usually apply to my chek bones for a nice glow, but needs to be really rubbed in in order for the glow to look somewhat natural.3
Loved sunbeam - it made my chubby checks arched higher and a sun kissed look to go! It also pairs well with the other benefit "beam" product line series!4
I usually use Benefit's High Beam as a highlight but Birch Box was sold out so I went with Sun Beam. It's very pretty and gives a subtle glow. I'm not sure it replaces High Beam but there is a space for it in my beauty routine. A lot of reviews mentioned that it has a lot of sparkle, but I don't feel that it added an abundance of sparkle to my skin and I think this might be because my complexion is darker.4
This highlighter is very nice and gives a subtle glow. The color even works on my fair skin. It isn't very shimmery just glory.4
I have a cooler tone, sometimes neutral in summer, so this doesn't work as a daily highlight for me, but in summer it is nice even on really pale tones, just not heavily.4
Absolutely love this product but need to be careful, as it is easy to overapply. I'm very fairskinned and this is a pretty dark product. I only use a tiny bit and make sure that I blend well so I look sun kissed and not fake! Excellent for countouring.4
I need to review because I'm such a devotee of SunBeam. I blend this into my cheekbones, under my brow, and down the center of my face. It looks luminous, but in such a natural way. The best way I can describe the effect is like this: you know those pictures someone snaps of you outside and you just look healthy and flawless, like a Freepeople model or something? You can work with filters or whatever to achieve that glow, OR you could use SunBeam. It makes you look perfectly sunkissed in all types of lighting. It's weightless, and so worth the extra time it takes to apply (a minute, sure-but I'm busy!). I wish it would mix into my foundation more readily for an all-in-one, but that's really the worst thing I can say about it.4
This bronzer is one of my favorites. It rubs in evenly and highlights just right. I like the color, it must work on all skin tones perfectly. The shimmer is just right. Definitely a sun kissed look4
Love this particular color! It adds a nice bronzing shimmer to the face and works well on both medium skin and light skin. My only gripe is that it's very shimmery- just be careful how much you apply to one spot!4
This is great to give a shimmer to your face. But be careful a little goes a long way. Too much makes you look like Princess Sparkle.4
