We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
Yes, it's cute! BUT...after the second use, the grit was gone and it no longer did the job. It also bent really easily - mine has three creases in it already.1
Did not like this at all...while pretty, it fell apart easily after one use on my hands. The outer layer peeled up and it had to be tossed - pretty ineffective.1
This nail filer doesn't smooth, file, or do anything! A pretty design and casing but offers nothing for the nails! For $5 you would expect a lot more from a nail file.1
This is one of the worst emery boards I have ever used. Even generic ones from the department store work better. Very cheaply made!1
It's cute, but it doesn't work. I've bought nail files for much less that didn't bend and actually had enough grit to file. Not at all worth purchasing.1
Yes, the pattern is cute, and it will look adorable in your purse, but it does not file - it falls apart. I wish it could be cute AND work.1
I initially loved this adorable emery board. It's cute, it has a sleeve to make it easy to carry, and it is a full sized item. But after using it for less than a month, both sides have started peeling. I'm a gardener, so I have short nails that only require occasional maintenance, so to have it peeling in less than a month is ridiculous. DO NOT BUY.1
Fell apart after using it only a few times didn't seem to file smoothly. Very cute pattern and holder, but I wouldn't purchase :(1
My first impression of this nail file was it's adorable floral print. I thought it was very cute and packaged well. After using it once to file my nails I was sad when it was already worn down. I still have it in my purse in case of an emergency, but the file is pretty much 'used up' after only one use.
I loved the look of the file and the pouch it came in, but I've used it several times, and the little metal file on my finger nail clippers works better than this file. The edges start to peel upwards and my nails are not smooth after use. Cute, but no good.1
