We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
Hands down this is the worst file I have ever used. Threw it away part way through filing my nails. The texture filed right off leaving a smooth ineffective filing surface & then the paper started peeling off the board. Definitely not worth $5!!!!1
Does what it should. I love the pretty print :) Keep this in my purse and use it all the time.
I found that it was dull or shredded after one use. The edges were unusable as the kept bending. I prefer a sturdy file though, perhaps for light buffing, this may have worked better.1
I also found this file to be relatively useless. I did not get through a one time use. I had to pull out a file that looks similar but is much sturdier, to finish the job I started with this file.1
Not a fan of one hit wonders. I like a product to have punch and shine and this only offers the shine. Basic emery board at it's best is $1 at your local Walgreens and same quality.1
I was excited to use the emery board, but within 15 seconds of first use, the paper began to peel away in several locations. I expected much better quality and was very disappointed.1
I was really excited to get this file, but it didn't last at all. It's going in the trash and I'll be getting a better brand next time.1
I was really excited to get a new nail file, as I was in need of one. Unfortunately this file only lasted for one use, if that. The next time I went to use it, both sides were worn down and useless. I can't say I've ever used such a poor quality emery board!1
Was very flimsy and did not file my nails good at all. Threw away after 1 use. I would not recommend this product.1
The weirdest thing... A nail file that doesn't file. I don't know if mine is defective, but I just threw it away. Very cute to look at and carry in your purse, though. For what that's worth.1
