We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
Super cute. Looks great it my accessory bowel. However every time I reach for it, I remember that it does NOT work. Not durable in any way. Falls apart like paper.2
this fell apart really quickly and was not at all effective. I'm glad that I didn't pay for it myself -- I can't believe that it is being offered for $5!! It looked better on my vanity and wasn't useful at all as a tool for filing my nails. Ruined after first use!1
I love the design of this and it is well made, not a cheap flimsy nail file. Definitely worth it!!4
This floral print on a nail file is great because I don't love the nude colored nail files, unfortunately after having this for a year it began to peel and not work :(. But for the first year it was awesome!4
First product from Birchbox that I did not like. The file did not work well even on natural nails. The board split apart and the paper came off the board after a week. I tried to tape it and then glue it back on without success. Not worth the money.1
A little pricey for a nail file, but I couldn't pass on this design. Works just as it should, not flimsy and will last me a long time.4
This is an adorable little file and perfect size for travel. It lasted me a while and I file my nails regularly!5
I purchased one of these to carry in my purse because it was so cute. It did not last long though for it came apart, the file came unglued. Cute while it lasted though.
I liked the plastic sheathe this came in for travel, but this file started to peel from each end almost immediately. The pattern is very pretty but I would rather not have a pattern if it meant having a better quality file. It was also not rough enough to get a good shape; it seemed more like a buffer than a file.2
I can't say that this was better or worse than any other emery board. I don't think it's worth the price tag to anything you'd find in the store.4
