We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
I tried this emery board thinking it was like the others I have but was in for a rude awakening when I used it. The floral design portion tore right off and it broke into two pieces. The pieces were still attached but were held together by part of the outer layer. It may have worked better on my fingernails but I used it on my toe. Disappointed.2
Super cute print and I liked that it had its own sleeve, but at the end of the day it's nothing outstanding. I'm glad it was in my box but I think I would only purchase this as a gift.2
The emery is cute more than anything. It is definitely overpriced. If you are looking for quality this is not it, but if your looking for something that is fashionable and easy on the eyes go for it2
Loved the cute design, but the file surface started to pull away from the base after just a few uses.2
I felt that this nail file didn't really hold up as long as others I've purchased.
Maybe I file my nails more than the average girl?
I am the type of person to have one at home, one at my desk and one in my purse at all times and generally only have polished natural nails (on occasion I go with a gel polish).
I regularly do my nails, trying to save money from expensive salon prices. This file came, I was very excited by appearance, but beyond disappointed in quality. This file only lasted rough a couple months, then was worthless. You can buy a cheap emery board for $1 that is better than this. Don' t let appearance fool you.2
It's probably one of the CUTEST nail files ever. And I mean ever. But unfortunately when I began to actually use it to file my nails, the paint/coating with the roughness to file nails would wear off almost immediately. So with that I had to use a different part of the board every time I file my nails, which can get a little difficult when my nails are shorter. If they improved the durability of the coating on the board, I would bump this review up to 5 stars.2
I was not impressed with this product. It is the same as every other emery board I have purchased. There was nothing wrong with it, just nothing special either.2
I'm not sure how many times you should be able to use an emery board before having to throw it away, but it wasn't many with this board. The image started scratching off immediately leaving an unusable surface below. Not a big fan2
Cute pattern, but not a very effective nail file. I prefer the Tweezerman emery board, which has a more gritty texture.2
