We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
I was happy to have a small nail file I could throw in my go to bag. However after just a few uses, there was no file left to use. I don't have hard or fake nails, either. glad this was a freebe.1
This nail file did not do it's job! It seemed flimsy on the edges and was worn out after just a few uses.1
This is the only product from birch box that I have gotten that ended up directly in the trash. The board fell apart on contact.1
I threw this away after a few nails. The pink rubbed off immediately and was useless. surprised it made the BirchBox cut to be quite honest.1
Fell apart quickly. The emory surfaces are just thin, cheap layers of paper attached to the board. I can't imagine paying $5 for this.1
Even with the plastic protective sheath, the emery board sticker came right off the board within a few uses. Total waste.1
I thought this board was super cute when it arrived and was very excited to use it. Unfortunately, it ripped within five seconds of using it. It is flimsy and did nothing for my nails. I do not recommend spending money on this product.1
The grit wore off of this on first use. I've had much cheaper emery boards that last far longer. I was disappointed given Madewell's reputation for quality.1
After a few uses, the emery board started falling apart. I think I'll stick to the cheaper emery boards since they last a lot longer.1
edges split, grit wore off after one use. There was not a big difference between grit on either side. Pretty is not enough if the functionality is not there1
