We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
It's design is cute indeed. But after only a few uses the board started to wear. I rarely have issues with other boards wearing down from use, especially after only a few uses. I would consider these more of a gift item if they were in a set.2
Really cute, but was super disappointing as a file, once you buff a spot all the graininess of the board goes away and it's useless. I would not purchase this.2
I will first start off by saying that i adored the print on the emery board. Then I starting to use it before and after I applied my stick on polish. The board only lasted for one use for me which was saddening.2
This nail file was basically completely worthless for my thick-ish nails. It was completely dull after filing three nails, and was bending like crazy. It's a cute design, but that's about all it's got going for it. I think if you have thinner nails, this would be great for you, but I have had better luck with the cheap files from the drug store.2
The emery board is obviously really pretty--so cute that I didn't even want to use it at first. But when I did, I realized that it doesn't actually work very well to file down nails at all. I had to switch back to my cheap cvs ones, since this one kept bending and didn't really do much filing.2
It was a very cute nail file, but as soon as I used it the emery part rubbed off. I only used it one time before it stopped being effective.2
Eh..it was another emery board. . . I have 10 more just like it. I surely wouldn't pay $5 for it when I can get one for under a dollar at the local store.2
Really cute pattern, but I prefer glass/ceramic files because I think they actually help to strengthen my nails. Also, this file is expensive since in my mind, it doesn't do anything more than the cheap, tradition brown ones.2
Nail file was so cute, yet it fell apart so to speak. The sides frayed and it hardly files anymore.2
The design on this nail file was great, perfect for spring! However, the quality is very poor. I used it once and it was peeling and coming apart. I was dissapointed.2
