We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
This is the CUTEST nail file I have ever seen! But, unfortunately, it did not stand up to very many filing sessions. Still, this adorable print makes up for any shortcomings :-)3
I really like the color and pattern on this nail file. It looks cute pulling it out of my bag, but it didn't last very long. After filing my nails twice it started to peel away from the edges-all the edges. Unfortunately I had to throw it away and it was not even half way used. Cute in theory, just not so useful.3
This is a sweet little emery board to have around. Although, it's really only for soft shaping-it's definitely not going to fix some larger nail problems. But that's okay, because it doesn't leave your nail edges sharp and rough, begging for tears. I dig it!3
Worked well, however I prefer a nail file with a bit coarser grit to it. Overall it did what it was supposed to, just took a little longer.3
I don't typically care for nail files, but this one is extremely cute as nail files come. Nothing fantastic about it, but the sweet pattern is a nice pick-me-up...much better than just a plain old nail file!3
I loved the pattern and the little sleep that the emery board came in, but it wore out very quickly. I don't file my nails really often but after two good files it was pretty much done. I would love to see something similar that is a bit more hearty!3
I initially loved this file, had great ridges for my nails. However, after a few months of usings it, the print on 1 side is now coming 'unglued' so to speak and peeling off. I do keep it in my car, so maybe the heat has undone it, but I've had others in my car and its never been a problem.3
I do my nails all of the time so I go through emery boards like crazy. However, this is probably the least effective nail file I have ever used. It is however, the cutest one I have ever used. I just didn't think it was "rough" enough to file y nails.3
This emery board is pretty to the eye, but serves the purpose of tethering down nails just as well as any other emery board.3
To me, an emery board is an emery board. I never file my nails but I did throw this in my makeup bag and actually needed it. It got the job done and it is much prettier than the plain old orangey/brown ones. That being said, I'd never spend money on a product like this!3
