We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
Not the best nail file in the world, not the worst. The grain seems light and the board seems flimsy. But as a massage therapist, I have to file my nails WAY down and file them often, so I need a pretty hardcore file that can take a beating. I hated the print on this, though. I don't get why super floral prints are coming back in style but that's just personal preference.3
Just your average emery board with a cute design. Mine bent in half after its second use. It's still usable though.3
This emery board has a really cute pattern but it is not the best quality! I am not sure if I would recommend it!3
These emery boards are nice on the nails, however they don't last long. I have had much cheaper boards last through twice as many filings. The one nice thing is I can keep the plastic cover for future boards and they don't get covered in gunk and ink from my desk drawer or pen cup!3
The pattern on this emery board was adorable but after one use I felt like it was falling apart. It may just be one that i keep in my purse for emergency nail fixes.3
Great addition to the box. It's charming, on trend with the floral design, and I wasn't embarrassed to pull it out and file away. My problem is that for the price of the emery board, the quality should be better. It didn't last as long as some of my cheaper boards have. With emery boards I personally prefer function over aesthetics.
Filing my nails gives me the willies, so I put off using this until I needed it for my Incoco polish sample and didn't mind it, which is high praise for a nail file. Gritty enough to do the job but not gritty enough to give me chills with every swipe. Plus, it's adorable!3
These nail files are very fine and don't work very well. I'd rather use a $2 double sided one from the drug store that has a fine side and a rough side. They are far more effective.3
Nothing particularly great, works as it should. It is slightly less rough than normal emery boards, but works just as well.3
Besides the pretty flower pattern, I see no discernible difference between this emery board and any other I have owned previously. I would not go out of my way to buy this. Especially if it cost more than regular. I won't be wearing this so, what's the point.
