We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
So I got this in one of my birchboxes and was super excited because I needed a new emery board. Within a few days of using this the board started to peel apart. Personally I don't think this is worth spending $5.2
I was excited to find this in my box - the pattern is adorable. Unfortunately the emery-ness wore off really quickly and then fell off altogether. Skip this one.2
I really enjoyed the look of this emery board, but unfortunately it didn't last very long. After only two manicures, the board began to become flimsy and basically stopped working. Sure, it looks great in your bag, but isn't worth the money.2
This file, which I really liked originally, is now totally peeling apart, and it hasn't gotten tons of use or abuse. I'd not recommend at this price.2
Got a sample of these in my March box. I probably won't buy the product in the future as the file bends and doesn't seem durable.2
very cute product, but less than functional. did not do much to file and then peeled apart. pretty disappointed because I really wanted to love this!2
The emery board was cute and I liked the packaging, but after only a few uses, the filing surfaces began peeling off.2
great product. love the design, very cheerful and uplifting. great to keep in your purse for quick nail emergencies or just daily up keep2
I totally have no problem with people filing a nail in public, I guess it was how I was raised, and this file is very attractive-looking. However, it is not very well made. The paper delaminated from the board, and got dull very quickly (even with the plastic cover kept on). Cheap emery boards work much better, even though they are not nearly as attractive.2
I was not impressed with this nail file. It started falling apart after just a couple of uses. I was a bigger fan of the Tweezerman file they gave away earlier!2
