We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
Not sure if this was because it was a sample but the file didn't last more than a few weeks and I don't file my nails THAT much. Worked great for about a week or so but wore down pretty fast.2
The edges of the file began to fray within the first week. It didn't last nearly as long as some of my other files.2
This board had the fatal flaw that many this style have. When you rest it vertically against a counter-top, hold your finger still, and quickly swipe the board back and forth to file the nail, the bottom edge of the board peels up and comes unglued, making it impossible to file your nail.
I know this isn't the only way to file a nail, but it's fast and efficient, and I've found other boards that can stand their ground with this method. So unfortunately this board won't work for me.
Not a fan of this emery board. It started to fall apart after the first use. I did like the pretty flower design though.2
I thought this nail board looked really cute when it came. However it did not last too long as shortly after the flowers started coming off.2
The emery board had a cute floral pattern, but it started to come apart the first time I used it.2
This emery board was the most beautiful board I've ever had, came in a cool plastic protective sleeve but I wasnt impressed with the courseness or abrasiveness of the board. Super pretty tho!2
I was happy to see two of my favorite companies come together for this product, but it fell short of expectations. I liked the floral print and the resuable plastic case, but when I went to file my nails, the rough outer sanding layer started to bubble up and peel off the inner part of the board. I would probably not buy another one. I wish it were sturdier.2
I used this 2 times before the ends started fraying and peeling back, actually causing more damage to the fragile skin around my nails! Although it was soft and gentle on nails it was not well made. Will not buy.2
Perhaps I just have really strong nails, but this emery board didn't work well on my nails. The first few times I used it, it worked great, but after that it would bend and seemed worn down already.2
