We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
I did not like this emery board at all, perhaps because I am used to using glass nail files. I found this very harsh on my nails. I've noticed that they broke more after using this file for few weeks.2
If you are the kind of person who likes to file your nails regularly instead of cutting them often, this product will not work out for you. It is really cute, and relatively inexpensive but after filing both hands, nearly all of the sand paper texture had rubbed off. It's basically comparable to the disposable ones you can buy at any beauty supply store much more cheaply. I had to throw it away after one use, so I wouldn't recommend purchasing this if you want a long term nail file.2
I received in my box a few months ago. After only a few uses, it is already starting to come apart at the edges. Looks super cute, but not particularly functional.2
I thought it was super cute when I got this in my box, but it just doesn't last. I found that after a few uses it was worn down and unusable. I've bought better at the drugstore for cheap.2
The design of this nail file was adorable..unfortunately the actual quality of the product wasn't great. The file was pretty week and barely filed my nails.2
I didn't care too much for the emery board. It cracked and bent as I was trying to use it. Will not be purchasing this item, although I did like the pattern/design. Good concept.2
Adorable floral design and packaging. Surprised that after a few uses it sort of fell apart. Both sides have a very thin layer of of emery paper so that when you file your nails, it cuts through the paper. You are then left with the several tears on the pretty design. I was able to get about 5 uses out of it before I threw it out. Like the idea of a design on a nail file, but poor execution.2
I'm a fan of glass files, have been for a few years. It worked well enough, but it didn't hold up as well as I would have liked. I kept it in the plastic sheath, but after a while of traveling around with me the rough sanding part of the board started to peel off. Cute and charming yes, but not my style.2
I was very excited to receive this adorable nail file in my box. However, when I used the file, its quality left much to be desired. After filing all of my nails, large parts of the file were missing any and all grit. Also, I wasn't filing very hard but left large dents in the file all over. Over all I was disappointed that I wasn't able to enjoy such a cute product.2
The nail file itself was adorable so I started using it right away. Within minutes the finish wore off on the nail file making it unusable. Very disappointing.2
