We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
I felt that this nail file didn't really hold up as long as others I've purchased.
Maybe I file my nails more than the average girl?
I am the type of person to have one at home, one at my desk and one in my purse at all times and generally only have polished natural nails (on occasion I go with a gel polish).
I regularly do my nails, trying to save money from expensive salon prices. This file came, I was very excited by appearance, but beyond disappointed in quality. This file only lasted rough a couple months, then was worthless. You can buy a cheap emery board for $1 that is better than this. Don' t let appearance fool you.2
It's probably one of the CUTEST nail files ever. And I mean ever. But unfortunately when I began to actually use it to file my nails, the paint/coating with the roughness to file nails would wear off almost immediately. So with that I had to use a different part of the board every time I file my nails, which can get a little difficult when my nails are shorter. If they improved the durability of the coating on the board, I would bump this review up to 5 stars.2
I was not impressed with this product. It is the same as every other emery board I have purchased. There was nothing wrong with it, just nothing special either.2
I'm not sure how many times you should be able to use an emery board before having to throw it away, but it wasn't many with this board. The image started scratching off immediately leaving an unusable surface below. Not a big fan2
Cute pattern, but not a very effective nail file. I prefer the Tweezerman emery board, which has a more gritty texture.2
This is a lovely product, with a nice plastic case to keep it in--perfect for your purse. Unfortunately, the emery paper peeled off the board rather quickly, rendering it unuseful.2
Cute pattern, but this wasn't rough enough to handle a major snagged nail. Honestly, I may just keep the carrying case (which is a good idea) and throw a cheap emery board in there to have in my purse.2
The design was super cute, but this board does not work for more than one use. I have thin nails, and I can use the cheap emery boards many times before tossing it,however I didn't feel like this did any better than those.2
This emery board is so pretty, I wish I could use it! But, I have gel nails. This would make a great re-gift item as a stocking stuffer or little birthday gift for a girlfriend, though!2
