We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
This emery board is not but I probably would not go out and buy one just because. It is cute but not really my style.3
Loved getting this in my Birchbox this month, its perfect to toss in my purse for those times when I need a nailfile on the go!5
This is a cute nail file that I keep in my purse. Have used it a few times, and while it files no differently than other files, it IS super cute!!!5
This was actually my favorite part of the March box. I keep it in my desk drawer and smile every time I see it. Madewell is such a fun line. Happy to see the collaboration with Birchbox!5
Pretty to look at and does the job. Would repurchase when this gets worn out. Handy to keep in purse because has a cover to keep clean.4
When I first tried this nail file I was in love, I thought finally a cute emery board that does its job. After a few uses the board lost its sand paper effect and became very dull. Not only that but the board started to come apart. I would not recommend this item, especially for five dollars. The only thing that is useful now is the clear case it came with.2
What I liked is that you can use it and use it and use it and the board looks exactly the same. It seems very long-lasting. I'm not a fan of the print and there is only one grit and it's a little rough. But for a freebie it's great!4
It's a pretty good nail file, and the print is really cute! What sets this apart is the handy plastic sleeve that comes with it- it keeps it from getting bent. Other than that, there's really nothing all that special about this product, but it works well.4
Too pretty to use! But then I needed a nail file... so it was used. Worked well! Was sad to scratch it up, but it got the job done ;)4
I don't know - this just didn't make me swoon at all. I think it's very functional but the pattern didn't disguise that it's just an emery board. I wasn't expecting something so - blah - in my first box.2
