We generally frown upon PDG (public displays of grooming) but this floral-patterned mini-file is so charming, we’re tempted to make an exception. Inspired by Madewell’s new spring collection, which features sun-ready prints and patterns like this one, the emery board is as practical as it is pretty. The double-sided nail care essential is perfect for daily maintenance and as a quick fix for snags or breaks.
I was excited to find this in my box - the pattern is adorable. Unfortunately the emery-ness wore off really quickly and then fell off altogether. Skip this one.2
I'm glad this was included in my box because if I had paid extra for it, I'd be upset. This thing wore out after a couple of uses. The floral patterned side started peeling away and made it impossible to file a nail. The pink side lost the abrasive coating and became useless. I tossed it away after maybe a month.1
I love everything about this emery board from the beautiful floral design to the plastic keeper. It's been a staple in my purse from the second I opened my birch box! My nails stay looking nice with this stylish file - I definitely don't mind showing it off!5
Apart from the obvious cuteness of the design, this emery board was a winner! Durable and adorable, I'd definitely purchase this guy!5
Such a cool, good looking pattern! I love having this Madewell Emery Board in my purse. As far as nail boards go its pretty run of the mill, but the pattern makes it worth spending a little bit more...5
This nail file has a beautiful floral pattern. I always get compliments when I take it out of my purse.5
This nail file is actually weak and would bend as I tried to file my nails. It was so pretty, but just not well made. I wish it lasted longer. Mine is already in the garbage because the file part was all gone.1
Initially I liked this emery board but long-term it doesn't not hold up well. It falls apart and quickly loses it's "emery board" roughness. It's pretty, it's cute, and can be used in a pinch but it's effectiveness lasts less than a month.3
Who doesn't love a boho chic nail file?! Well, it's not my top priority accessory to make cuter, but hey, why not?! As far as nail files go, it's thick and sturdy which gives me confidence it will last. And it's not half bad looking either.3
Maybe I'm not just a nail fanatic, but I kind of feel like most emery boards are the same and this one was better than say ones from the dollar store but I definitely don't need fancy prints on an emery board to do the same job.3
