Citrus scents are impossibly fresh, but they also have a habit of going missing after a few hours. Until now, that is. This concentrated, distinctive blend lasts much longer than traditional citrus scents. Orange Sanguine is meant to recreate a moment in time, and mimics the blissful feeling of sitting on an oceanfront terrace, with groves of orange trees off in the distance. The joyful scent has top notes of blood orange and bitter orange, a middle transition with jasmine and geranium, and a base of amber woods, tonka beans, and sandalwood.
this smells great! very citrusy and light. cant wait to wear it more5
loved this...smelled so great, love citrusy scents. it lasted long and was very refreshing.5
I was so pleasantly surprised by this scent! It is the perfect amount of citrus punch, and lasts until well after I get home from work. I will definitely be purchasing a full sized bottle. This might be my new signature scent for summer.5
Not a scent I would typically go for, but I'm actually enjoying it. Don't know that I would spend money on it though, especially since I have plenty of perfume already.4
I have tried, over and over, to replicate the scent of fresh orange blossoms that used to perfume the air when I lived in San Diego. This one comes close, I will give you that! Perfect timing, Birchbox. This will be great for the summer months.4
I am not a perfume/cologne user, but this scent might just convince me otherwise! I only can do perfumes if they are a purely fruity scent, and this one fit the bill. Summery and refreshing, I actually will use this! The packaging of the bottle makes it tough to apply just a little without having it go on too heavily - but other than that, two thumbs up!5
I like the smell of this, it's different from what I usually wear and will be really nice for summer.4
Love the scent. Citrusy, bright, and springy but for me it barely lasted an hour. I'd love to find something similar that lasted and really added a punch to my routine. Not worth th steep $95 per bottle price tag if I can't count on catching a tiny whiff of the lovely scent throughout the day.3
I was really excited to receive a sample from Atelier Cologne in my first BirchBox. Even more so when I saw it was a cologne I had expressed interest in trying when I previously checked out website.
Unfortunately, I was not really impressed with the fragrance. I love fruity scents so when I first applied this cologne I thought it smelled nice but noticed a little undertone, you could call it, to the orange. When I read the scent had bitter orange in it I figure that must be the undertone to the orange. After wearing it and sniffing it throughout the time it was on I became more and more displeased with the scent. It would have been so much better with a regular orange smell. Oranges to me do not smell like this cologne.
The dry down is better but when this cologne's main feature is that bitter orange I can not recommend buying this product, even if the dry down is nicer.
I love the brightness and sharpness of this scent. It also somehow smells edgy and mysterious in a way that citrus scents usually don't.5
