We fell in love with Atelier Cologne’s Vanille Insensée Cologne Absolue at first sniff. Unlike most vanilla scents, this highly concentrated blend of jasmine, vanilla, and lime is fresh, not sweet. Happily, the long-lasting fragrance lasts all day — we’re smitten and you will be too.
To read the ingredients you would think this fragrance is for a woman, but after smelling it is most definitely something for a man. Despite everything telling me no, I dabbed a small amount on my palms......let me tell you it has lasted ALL day ( which if you enjoy this scent then this is a bonus for you!) and I am so nauseated! No way would I buy this.
i was not a fan of this perfume. It was almost nauseating and way too strong. It had a very intense vanilla scent that give me a terrible headache. I will not be purchasing this perfume.
I received this sample and did not care for it at all. The vanilla was nice, but there was a musk to it that I found overwhelming. I did not notice the lime. On the upside, I agree that this is a long-lasting fragrance - I could smell it on my skin the entire day. After one use, I tossed the remainder.
The packaging was cute but the scent fell a little short for me. I only dabbed a tiny bit on the back of my hands and the smell was extremely overpowering. The smell itself was a little bit....old ladyish. The scent definitely would last all day for those who like the smell of it, it took me a few handwashes of intense scrubbing to make the smell go away.
It's a pretty smell...just not for me :( you can smell the vanilla..it's kind of like an old lady smell
This perfume lasts all day, but that's not necessarily a good thing because it smells like straight-up vanilla extract. There's no complexity to it (I don't pick up the jasmine or lime)…it smells like I went into my kitchen cabinet and dabbed some vanilla extract on myself. Yuck…I don't want to smell like a baking ingredient!
Not my cup of tea. I may donate my sample to the next little old lady I see on the street :)
I was expecting the vanilla notes to stand out more in this perfume...maybe for it to be a little more young and sweet smelling. Instead, it seemed more of a cologne an older woman would wear. It is not offensive to me by any means....just not for me.
this is not my sent I like fruit sent and more floraly sents and I would recommend this to someone who likes more mucky send and I didn't relli smell the vanilla
If you like light, fresh scents this is not for you. The scent is quite overpowering you almost think it's cologne for men, and in addition I'm not a fan of vanilla scented things in general, so definitely not my favorite.
