We fell in love with Atelier Cologne’s Vanille Insensée Cologne Absolue at first sniff. Unlike most vanilla scents, this one is fresh, not sweet. Top notes of bright lime and coriander mingle with middle notes of jasmine and oak moss, while Madagascar vanilla and amber notes anchor the scent. Happily, the romantic fragrance lasts all day — we’re smitten and you will be too.
I'm too picky for perfume samples, wish we could eliminate them completely, oh well, this is sweet and floral so if you like that then try it1
Too much vanilla in all things lately- and I'm truly not a fan...1
The product was a little too mature for my taste. I enjoy a youthful citrus-y scent. Probably perfect for a person in their 30s that care for a mellow fragrance.1
I love getting fragrance samples, but this smells like something an elderly grandmother would wear. I cannot bring myself to use it again! It smells so stuffy. Definitely not a favorite. Not a fresh clean scent1
So I actually rarely ever wear perfume at all and I actually really dislike vanilla so I'm actually probably not a great judge but this one especially was way too strong and was pure vanilla without and subtlety to it at all and it just smelled like old lady perfume.1
I am over tiny cheap fragrance samples. They should not count as samples as they are free in stores1
Thus scent just had old lady written and smell of it just not my favorite perfume nothing was appealing in packaging and just smelled vanilla no jasmine just didn't do it for me1
I really did not like this scent. While it's obvious that it is a high quality product, the vanilla scent is clingy and cloying. That being said, I'm a person who prefers bright scents like citrus versus the warmth and sweetness of vanilla.1
Horrible fragrance, but if you like it, the good news is that it goes on strong and stays strong for hours. HOURS.1
Just not for me. I really don't like pure vanilla based fragrances like this one; I tend to like florals and/or florals blended with light oriental woods. Last month's Catherine Malandrino really surprised me and I love it - it does have jasmine and the light oriental notes I like. Hoping to find more similar fragrances to that one.1
