Like most women, we mapped out reliable antiacne routines during our awkward junior-high years, but our pimple-fighting regimen fell by the wayside once we started focusing more on antiaging creams. That’s not to say the occasional adult breakout doesn’t still occur, which is why we’re grateful to cutting-edge skincare experts DDF® for creating this potent zit-zapper. Unlike the chalky acne products of our teen years, this complexion savior works while we sleep to heal blemishes. It’s a very adult treatment, even if we’re still kids at heart.
I didn't think this was very effective. It didn't seem to reduce the size of my acne at all, and I use a different product that I think works better than this. However, I did like the consistency and it didn't dry my skin out at all. I may try using this more than once a day to see if it is more effective.2
The product is virtually scentless, which is nice, but seemed rather ineffective other than completely drying out my cheeks. As someone who has to manage acne on a regular basis, I don't think I'd consider this as part of my daily routine. I had a small breakout and it seemed as though my zit laughed at this product. Maybe my acne is just resilient?2
For whatever reason salicylates are just not as effective for me in controlling acne as some other products. Personally, my skin responds really well to benzoyl peroxide (antibacterial and exfoliating properties) - I wish this wasn't the case because I have to be very careful to not bleach my towels and sheets!
For this product specifically -- I really did not like the fragrance -- too medicinal/chemically.
I liked the product but it was to harsh for my dry, sensitive skin. I think it would have been great had my skin not been reactive.2
I felt like this is just your run-of-the-mill spot treatment with Salicylic Acid. Not any better than any other products I've used with the same active ingredient.2
I was really hoping I would like this product. I always wanted to try DDF, so I was really excited I got this as a sample. However, I was left really disappointed. 1% salicylic acid is quite low. I've seen 2% and 3% in other brands, which obviously works a lot better. I think I'll still with the cheaper brands that work a lot better.2
I have an occassional pimple pop-up and it drives me nuts! When I had one surface, I immediately reached for this product, but I can't say that it made any sort of a difference. I don't plan on purchasing this product, and I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.2
I have fairly mild acne which I don't go out of my way to treat, because practically every acne treatment I've ever tried has resulted in harsh allergic reactions. So naturally, I first tried this cream on a small, more hidden spot on my face. The great thing about it is that it didn't give me a rash, like other acne creams do. Unfortunately, after a few uses, there was no noticeable difference in the acne itself. Maybe my acne is just too mild for there to be noticeable results...I don't know. Anyway, two stars, because it's seemingly a good product for those with sensitive skin, but wasn't effective, for me.2
I didn't see any advantage of using the sample of this product over my usual ones, which are far less expensive... I know sometimes it takes a while for them to work most effectively, but for me the price is prohibitive to try the full size and see if I can get the positive results other reviewers have mentioned.2
This zit cream didn't do anything. I'm 28 with mild acne (A small pimple every few days due to stress or hormones.) Back to Clearasil.
