Like most women, we mapped out reliable antiacne routines during our awkward junior-high years, but our pimple-fighting regimen fell by the wayside once we started focusing more on antiaging creams. That’s not to say the occasional adult breakout doesn’t still occur, which is why we’re grateful to cutting-edge skincare experts DDF® for creating this potent zit-zapper. Unlike the chalky acne products of our teen years, this complexion savior works while we sleep to heal blemishes. It’s a very adult treatment, even if we’re still kids at heart.
I got this as a sample several months ago (a couple of ounces lasted me a while) and I'm about to buy the fullsize. I tend to break out on my forehead and chin and this is great at clearing it up. It takes a few days to a week of overnight use to get completely clear, but I noticed a difference even after the first night.
This may dry out your skin (particularly sensitive skin people) if you use it more than once a day, but it says so on the bottle and recommends starting with once a day. Also, dryness/tight skin feeling isn't noticeable until the next morning and goes away when you wash your face and moisturize.
Applying, it feels and smells like a lotion or moisturizer.
Sampled. I liked this product, but not quite enough to buy. It didn't dry out my skin too much which is the usual problem I have with acne medication, but I'm not sure that it helped to clear my skin up that much.4
I have been breaking out lately so this came at a great time. I like that I can't really overuse this product. With some abrasive acne creams, I get severe drying with only a few applications. I layered this stuff on a few times a day and it felt it was taking care of the blemish, but in the right way. Also, no excessive burning or scent when using the product.3
This was a blessing in a box for me. A couple weeks before this cream came in the mail I had started getting acne under my chin. It was the strangest thing and no matter what I did the acne spots would not go away. I began applying this cream to my chin and it cleared up my acne within one week. I continued applying the cream for another week just to be sure the acne wouldn't return...and it didn't! Also, a little bit goes a long way! I received the sample bottle about 4 months ago and it still hasn't run out. Keep in mind--I only break out about once or twice a month.5
The best piece of information I've learned about diminishing acne is to pair salicylic acid and Benzoyl peroxide when spot treating. When I did this with this product my acne cleared up right away! It doesn't try out my skin and has a productive amount of salicylic acid. Definitely a product every should own, along with benzoyl peroxide (i own a clearasil product).5
I've been using this as an 'emergency' treatment for the past couple months, and it seems to be working really well! I like that it doesn't irritate my skin, and the zits seem to disappear in a couple days. Over many many years I've realized there's no magic cure, so a clear-up in 2 days with no irritation - I'll take it, thanks!4
This product is great for acne prone skin. I used this on my blemishes and they would shrine in size overnight. It's not over drying and kept my skin moisturized. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends.5
I have the occasional acne spots on my T-Zones and this product was great at reducing the size an appearance over night.5
I have acne prone skin that is very sensitive so I usually have to avoid anything with Salicylic acid. It usually leaves me red and splotchy or feeling. I was nervous to try this sample because of my sensitivity but it worked great! I have used it every night for a week with no redness or peeling and I can see a definite difference in the appearance of my skin. It will definitely be added to my nightly routine.5
I used this when I started breaking out with pimples on my forehead and cheek. It actually burned, and not in a tingly way, but in a harsh way. It also smelled really bad and It didn't help the blemishes at all. :/
