Like most women, we mapped out reliable antiacne routines during our awkward junior-high years, but our pimple-fighting regimen fell by the wayside once we started focusing more on antiaging creams. That’s not to say the occasional adult breakout doesn’t still occur, which is why we’re grateful to cutting-edge skincare experts DDF® for creating this potent zit-zapper. Unlike the chalky acne products of our teen years, this complexion savior works while we sleep to heal blemishes. It’s a very adult treatment, even if we’re still kids at heart.
I am prone to breakouts...especially during the summer. While this product didn't aggravate my acne, I also didn't feel it helped improve my acne very much.3
I can't complain because it was pretty good, I prefer to use something a little more effective. My skin is pretty oily on certain parts. It was gentle enough not to dry me out, though.4
I have found that anything DDF is great for my skin. And the acne control treatment is no different. Highly recommended. Great for night treatment or even under makeup. It does an awesome job drying out without being too damaging on skin.5
I didn't notice a huge change when using this product compared to the acne products I normally use. I didn't seem to zap the pimples the way that I thought it would. Although it didn't dry my skin out as much as I thought it might since it has salicylic acid as the main acne fighter which can be very drying.3
I think this product is a decent product. It doesn't have an overly medicinal smell and I believe that it works. I already use a similar product and I don't know if I will switch.4
Compared to other spot treatments, I didn't really see an affect. I usually only need acne medicine for spontaneous and infrequent break outs, and so I'm usually looking for a quick fix. However, I've found other products to be way quicker, those with a higher concentration of salicylic acid. I used this for a week after a break out and saw literally no change, so I'm not sure this is for the infrequent user, but maybe it works in the long term?1
Very potent - doesn't take much, and works very well. Light and not sticky, really enjoy this product.4
I have been using this product and it has been helping me with my breakouts and I'm using it as a preventative measure against breakouts around my nose. It's gentle on my skin and hasn't been too drying as I've seen with other acne treatments.4
If I didn't already have a tried and true treatment, I would buy the full size of this product. (My current product is cheaper....) I did give it a go with the excellent sized sample, and it was effective! If you're on the market for an acne treatment that won't wreak havoc on your skin and make you look like the mummy's curse, this is mild on your skin, but still tough on spots.3
I really enjoyed using the sample of this acne cream, but I can't see paying $45 for it. I used it as a spot treatment for random hormonal breakouts I get from time to time. When I applied the cream to a blemish, it didn't burn like acne treatments typically do, so I assumed that it wouldn't work. However, I was surprised. The cream did speed up the healing time of my blemishes. I was impressed. In the end, I can't see paying that much for a product just to decrease the life of a blemish by a day or two. But, if you're looking for an effective product that works fast and expense isn't an issue for you, I definately recommend this cream.4
