While were happy these BB creams have spread like wildfire, we'll always have a soft spot for the Korean brand that started it all: Dr. Jart+. Their premium formula is a five-in-one primer, serum, moisturizer, SPF, and sheer tint. Made without parabens or sulfates, this creamy tinted balm tames problem complexions and is the cornerstone of a no-nonsense makeup routine. Arbutin brightens and evens out skin tone, while green tea and aloe vera soothe irritation. Rare caviar extract promotes collagen production, while titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.
I am very disappointed in this purchase. I love this brand and can't believe how dissatisfying this product is.
As a moisturizer it's way too greasy and oily. As a primer and "light tint" not great. The color is a grayish mauve and very heavy not light at all, it spreads heavy too. This is not a primer, it causes my foundation to wipe off because it's so oily, I won't be purchasing again.
I wanted to love this but it made my skin breakout. I have combination skin and the first time I got a few small pimples in areas I don't normally breakout in. I decided to give the sample a few more tries and this continued every time I tired it, with time for my skin to clear up first. Not pleased.1
Be warned: this BB cream, no matter how much moisturizer you try to mix it with, will be too dark for fair skin. I have a peaches and cream complexion and I was hoping this BB cream would work for me (It's just in one shade). Sadly, I was wrong. It was so dark, I looked like I got a really bad spray tan on my face. It also made my skin super oily during the day so I felt like I was wiping my face multiple times. My least favorite BB cream I've ever tried.1
This stuff is terrible and clogged my pores. It goes on greasy and never gets better. I tried small amounts and tried applying in different ways. Each time I applied this to my face, I got a terrible oily and cakey look. I am guessing that is because it is SPF 25. Honestly, I live in the north country and we don't get much sun here in winter. I just need a good base. This BB is also very pale and slightly olive. It's not the right skin tone for me. I tried Marcelle BB Golden Glow, Jouer matte moisture tint (spf15) and now this one. I think the best one would be the Marcelle BB cream. I hope this helps you in your selection.1
I wasn't all that impressed with this sample. I definitely won't be buying a full sized product of it. It didn't feel silky like ti claimed to. I like other products from this brand, but did not care too much for this one. The only thing it would be good for--for me is as a simple sunscreen and I can get that with almost any facial product.1
I was really excited about the claims this product had. The product is so fair it makes me look ghostly when I put it on. I wish there was more of a color selection because this does not work for my skin tone! :(1
This product did not work for my skin type, it just looked liked paste and highlights my pores and wrinkles. was not a fan of this particular product for my skin type1
I bought the full size of this, without trying based on the reviews and I HATE it. It's way too thick and makes me look ghostly, too light. Unfortunately, I am stuck with a full size product I will never use.1
I have light/medium skin and I thought this BB cream would work well with my acne prone skin, but instead I just look like a pale-faced, dry ghost. Such a huge let down because I read so many raving reviews about how great this BB was. It's misleading that they don't explicitly tell you that this BB comes in one color and that it's super light, almost gray and cool-toned.1
I received this as a sample and it went right in the trash. The color was far too light for me, and the product seemed whipped and chalky. It didn't smooth over my skin well or provide the right coverage. Marcelle was a much bigger win for me, for a BB cream.1
