It’s impossible to browse our favorite blogs without seeing yet another in-depth exposé on BB creams. While we’re happy these skin perfectors have spread like wildfire, we’ll always have a soft spot for the Korean brand that started it all: Dr. Jart+. Their premium formula is a five-in-one primer, serum, moisturizer, SPF, and sheer tint. It uses exotic caviar extract and other actives to tame problem complexions.
I loved the thin texture and color matched my skin. I don't typically need a lot of coverage, but this was very thin coverage. My skin broke out less than 5 hours after wearing it and continued to break out until I switched back. I have very sensitive skin, so this may be better for others who are not prone to break outs.1
did not like this. it settled too much with powder in my fine lines under my eyes. I have urban decays bb cream and it doesnt settle with powder so I def will not be using this1
I wasnt particularly thrilled with this product. When Im not doing foundation, I will use a bb cream and set with a powder. I have and love Urban Decay's bb cream, but Dr. Jart's settled and defined my fine lines under my eyes. The feel and texture was fine, but I did not like the effect under my eyes. Would not purchase.1
I absolutely hated this BB cream. It was way too thick and sticky. Had to SCRUB my face vigorously with a wash cloth to get it off of my hands and face.1
Maybe the issue is that I was expecting different results from a BB cream... When the directions say to use instead of a tinted moisturizer, I'd expect similar coverage and texture. This stuff went on thick and heavy. It looked dark in my hand but when spread on my face it was far too light for my already fair complexion and looked as though i was wearing a clay face mask!! When I attempted to wash it off, the water just beaded up - I had to use face wash and then makeup remover to get it off of my skin!!! I threw away the rest of the sample, I don't think I'll be trying this or any other BB cream again.1
This product made me break out immediately. The coverage was good, but then I had monster zits the next day where I applied it. I definitely will not be purchasing and do not recommend for those with sensitive skin.1
This cream is super thick and a weird color. I put it on my face and I instantly looked like a geisha.1
I was not a big fan of this product. I was super excited to receive this sample, because I had just been considering making a BB cream purchase. I found this to be really thick, and when applied to my skin looked really cakey. It made my skin look older as the cream sat in each little crease. I think I will stick with regular moisturizers and mineral powders1
I know that many people absolutely love this product. I think that I was used to wearing a foundation, I would love it too, since it has the spf included. However, I don't wear foundation or much coverage at all, so it was something that I wasn't used it. I don't particularly want to start wearing a foundation, so this product wasn't for me. But if I did, it would be something I would consider.1
but I did not enjoy this product at all. The sample size was too small, allowing for only one use. It's possible that I did somethign wrong, but I didn't like it. The packaging seemed to focus on the SPF content. The color wasn't a great match for my skin...just not for me.1
