While were happy these BB creams have spread like wildfire, we'll always have a soft spot for the Korean brand that started it all: Dr. Jart+. Their premium formula is a five-in-one primer, serum, moisturizer, SPF, and sheer tint. Made without parabens or sulfates, this creamy tinted balm tames problem complexions and is the cornerstone of a no-nonsense makeup routine. Arbutin brightens and evens out skin tone, while green tea and aloe vera soothe irritation. Rare caviar extract promotes collagen production, while titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.
I'm not sure what a beauty balm is, and wasn't sure how to use it. Are there different shades? I have olive skin. I did try it under my eyes mixed with my regular foundation to cover dark circles...and liked it. It's too light to use alone, but is okay if combined with other color products.4
I'm not a big fan of bb creams. Only used this once, not greasy or oily. If I used BB creams I would use this product.4
This product didn't stick out much to me. It's just a usual lip balm.4
From what I could tell from the small sample, I would have really liked this if it had been in a lighter shade.4
If my skin wasn't so oily I would have liked this product better. I was an oil slick within 2 hours. It would be better suited to combo of dry skin.4
I tried this bb a few times. I like that it is SPF 25 and that it helps with blemish prone skin like mine. It comes on light and is easy to blend.4
To thick of a consistency. Thinner would be more light weight4
I like BB creams generally, this went on pretty thick and seemed dark at first, but blended well after working on it. Don't think I want to have to work at making it blend so much.4
This is the first BB cream I've tried that didn't make my skin look dry and cakey - and the color actually blended with my complexion. However, it's still not moisturizing enough for winter, so I'll stick with my current products. (If there were an untinted version, I would consider it for summer use.)4
I like the idea of this but feel it's just not for me. It was really greasy feeling when I put it on and gave me really bad breakouts.4
