While were happy these BB creams have spread like wildfire, we'll always have a soft spot for the Korean brand that started it all: Dr. Jart+. Their premium formula is a five-in-one primer, serum, moisturizer, SPF, and sheer tint. Made without parabens or sulfates, this creamy tinted balm tames problem complexions and is the cornerstone of a no-nonsense makeup routine. Arbutin brightens and evens out skin tone, while green tea and aloe vera soothe irritation. Rare caviar extract promotes collagen production, while titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.
This product worked great and would have been a perfect 5 star product if I would have received the correct color for my skin tone. It was much too light so I really couldn't use it other than to sample it.4
I love the coverage of this product but the the color did seem a bit to white for me. It was great product. But it made my face shiny as to add to the extra oily skin I already have. I would just have to put dry powder over it to not be so shiny. I'm3
I like this product a lot. I've tried lots of bb aND cc cremes and like the coverage this one offers.4
Tried this product as a moisturizer on a non make up day. It covered so well that I could have used it as my foundation and would only have needed a shimmer color brushed over it. It matched my olive skin tone well and with some lips gloss left me ready for the day quickly without looking makeup deprived!5
I have always been a fan of Dr. Jart's water based BB so I thought I would also try this. I bought a sample a year ago and I wasn't impressed (at least not for my skin). After one day of wearing it my skin always felt so dirty! It's not for me but I prefer a lighter, less traditional makeup feel anyway.3
I am not a fan of this product. It doesn't smell great, and it I am going to wear something on my face all day I want it to be odorless. The shade doesn't work for my skintone. I have uneven, skin coloring so it really looked like I had product on my face. I am a fan of a more natural look so the fact that I looked like I had product on my face wasn't a selling point for me.3
I always try all of the products I get in my birchbox, even if they aren't very relevant and something I normally don't use. This was on of those items that I liked and I plan to use the sample, but isn't a product I regularly use, so I'm not planning to buy the sample.4
I wanted to like this really. I think the major problem was the color match. Too light for my skin and washed me out. Made me look ghostly! Also thinner than I had hoped for. Not much coverage. I did like how matte the product was though!3
I've tried several tinted BB & CC lines and I currently use a much less expensive drugstore CC brand that looks, feels, & acts exactly like this product for half the price. Nothing impressive within the pretty packaging to make me switch up.3
Liked the texture and coverage of this balm. Couldn't really tell much difference between this BB Cream and others I have used in the past.4
