While were happy these BB creams have spread like wildfire, we'll always have a soft spot for the Korean brand that started it all: Dr. Jart+. Their premium formula is a five-in-one primer, serum, moisturizer, SPF, and sheer tint. Made without parabens or sulfates, this creamy tinted balm tames problem complexions and is the cornerstone of a no-nonsense makeup routine. Arbutin brightens and evens out skin tone, while green tea and aloe vera soothe irritation. Rare caviar extract promotes collagen production, while titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.
I have fair skin with freckles, so it can be really tough to find a shade that isn't too yellow or pink on my skin. This product gave me just the right amount of coverage, while still matching my natural tone. I was concerned I might breakout, since it is not oil free, but I have not had a problem at all!5
I'm a huge fan of BB cream usually, I appreciate the light coverage and dewy look. I felt like this went on much more like a foundation-full coverage and the color wasn't quite right for me. It was too think for my liking and looked cakey on me. I will stick to my more thin BB Creams.3
Very light feeling. Love how I can use it in place of foundation or under it.5
If my skin wasn't so oily I would have liked this product better. I was an oil slick within 2 hours. It would be better suited to combo of dry skin.4
Great, nice coverage, blends nicely with my skin tone, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or break me out. Only complaint about it is that it can be a little drying - I tend to use something different in the winter. Great for summertime with my combination sensitive skin!5
I tried this bb a few times. I like that it is SPF 25 and that it helps with blemish prone skin like mine. It comes on light and is easy to blend.4
To thick of a consistency. Thinner would be more light weight4
I like BB creams generally, this went on pretty thick and seemed dark at first, but blended well after working on it. Don't think I want to have to work at making it blend so much.4
I liked this BB cream and will definitely add it to my rotation for days when I'm not doing a full face of makeup. It is a little thicker than some other BBs, but there are some days when I'd like something in between light and full foundation, and this product serves that role.5
This is the first BB cream I've tried that didn't make my skin look dry and cakey - and the color actually blended with my complexion. However, it's still not moisturizing enough for winter, so I'll stick with my current products. (If there were an untinted version, I would consider it for summer use.)4
