While were happy these BB creams have spread like wildfire, we'll always have a soft spot for the Korean brand that started it all: Dr. Jart+. Their premium formula is a five-in-one primer, serum, moisturizer, SPF, and sheer tint. Made without parabens or sulfates, this creamy tinted balm tames problem complexions and is the cornerstone of a no-nonsense makeup routine. Arbutin brightens and evens out skin tone, while green tea and aloe vera soothe irritation. Rare caviar extract promotes collagen production, while titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.
Dr. Jart products never cease to amaze me and this one is my new favorite BB cream. Great for a sheer tint on a Saturday morning!5
This product is thicker than what I usually go for, but it was very smooth going. I use it as a primer mostly just for eyes and highlight area -- not sure if I would use it on my whole face because I usually go for a warmer tone and was worried it was too cool for me. It's not really scented, so a good choice if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. Overall, I consider it a solid investment for my makeup bag and daily routine.4
I am not a fan of most BB creams because of their lack of coverage. However, Dr. Jart+ Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm has converted me to an avid BB cream user due to its wonderful coverage and flawless feel. It is light on the skin and most days I forget I am even wearing makeup!4
This BB cream makes your foundation layer a cinch. I smooth a light layer over my entire face after moisturizing using my fingers, and top off with concealer. The color is a good match, and it has kept my skin acne-free.5
I absolutly love BB creams because they do so much more then other foundations. I love Dr Jart products they cover your flaws and help your skin. Very good product.5
I love this product! It matches my skin tone and actually helps with my acne. Already ordered a full size!5
I liked the spread-ability of this cream and it didn't clog up my oily skin or make it greasy. I felt like it didn't look too gunked on and thick in places, like I had expected it to.4
This felt like really stiff and thick Vaseline . It was almost impossible to get out of that tiny tube. However, I put this on before a cold and windy football game and it stayed on thru the entire game. I don't think I would buy this.3
This particular product is probably more suited for someone with dry or normal skin, not oily like mine. Doesn't do much to control oil and/or shine. Also, wrong shade for people with yellow skin undertones or light complexions. I wasn't a fan.3
I've heard good things about this product; so glad I was able to try it. It looked too dark at first, but I like it even more than the CC cream I'm using - it blended perfectly, and made my skin look fresh.5
