While were happy these BB creams have spread like wildfire, we'll always have a soft spot for the Korean brand that started it all: Dr. Jart+. Their premium formula is a five-in-one primer, serum, moisturizer, SPF, and sheer tint. Made without parabens or sulfates, this creamy tinted balm tames problem complexions and is the cornerstone of a no-nonsense makeup routine. Arbutin brightens and evens out skin tone, while green tea and aloe vera soothe irritation. Rare caviar extract promotes collagen production, while titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.
I like Dr. Jart products. I already had this and have used it in the past. I am not currently using it but I would if I wanted a lighter coverage.4
I've tried many BB and CC creams - thanks to Birchbox - and I must admit that this one is fairly decent. Thanks for finally sending me one that is good!5
This BB cream goes on very smooth and feels great. It is very moisturizing and doesn't feel greasy. I like that it has five benefits.4
I loved that this left my face looking flawless and not cakey. It also helped withthe under eye circles!4
This bb cream applies nicely and the shade matches my skin tone. If it appears to light, just blend and when the product oxidizes it magically matches your skin. Although I find this to be true of all bb creams I've used in the past. The cream makes my skin feel nice and smooth. I have normal to combination skin and this gives me a dewy look without being overly shiny. I like how it makes my face feel moisturized and flawless.5
This balm is brilliant and highly recommended. It apples evenly, and has a great calming property. I enjoy using this.5
It felt silky on my skin and reduced my redness. It moisturizes without being greasy although it might be a little light in color for me.4
This is a great "starter" BB cream in my opinion. It's pretty hard to mess up and goes with any skin tone, with medium coverage. I loved it and used it for a really long time before moving over to a brand that works better for my skin.5
Really have enjoyed trying all of the Dr. Jart products. I like this one. May order larger size in future.4
I was a little confused after receiving this sample. It said tinted so I thought maybe it came in different tints. It doesn't. I tried it anyway and after trying this product 3 times(worn only in the house, lol), I have mixed reviews.
So, I've decided to just list my pros and cons. Here goes...
PROS: Creamy, matte, light weight, feels natural on your skin, does provide some coverage and does not look cakey, gets rid of the ruddiness, redness, skin discoloration and leaves your skin looking flawless. This can be your go to all in one and if you have fair skin tone, you can possibly wear alone without additional makeup and it leaves a nice glow. A little goes a long way so you don't have to use much and lastly it does leave your skin nicely primed for makeup.
CONS: Has a "universal" tint which is not really universal and does not blend easily into medium & darker skin (with yellow undertones) therefore you cannot wear it alone. Upon initial application it starts to blend smoothly but becomes a little more difficult within a few seconds leaving you tugging at your skin. For medium & darker skin tones you must be prepared to follow up with some kind of foundation, bronzer or something of such to add color to your face. This will leave you with a pale almost flawless glow(pro and con at the same time) :) . However, like I mentioned, it does leave your skin nicely primed for makeup.
This is a true BB Cream and not generally meant to be worn alone( unless your skin tone allows it). The consistency is thicker than most other brands making it have a fuller coverage but still looks natural and feels good under makeup. No need for primer before your foundation if you wear this. But with not being a heavy makeup wearer and preferring something with a sheer tint true to my own tone, this product would not benefit me.
Hope this helps. Happy Shopping!!!!
