While oodles of skincare systems require multiple steps to get clear skin, this product battles blemishes in a single sweep. By opening, detoxing, and tightening pores, the one-step herbal-infused formula both battles existing blackheads and prevents future blemishes from forming. It's even gentle enough for sensitive skin, hydrating skin with regenerative botanicals. Natural ingredients like grapefruit extract and willow bark penetrate pores and eliminate dead skin cells, leaving your face glowing and feeling fresh. Olive oil conditions skin, while licorice root calms and purifies your complexion.
I bought this product based on the reviews from other users. I've tried it several times and really haven't noticed any differences. I'm going to continue to use it and hope I will be one of the happy reviewers, but so far I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it.3
I call this stuff "plant glue." It is this strange fun sticky goop that goes on thick, dries tacky, and comes off in very satisfying globs. You feel like you're really pulling crud out of your face, hence the satisfying bit...but the globs are just the plant glue coming off in chunks, and I'm not really sure how much pore buildup/blackhead goop this actually removes. Like, if I did a before and after, maaaaaybe I'd see a couple of clogged pores reduced, but not unclogged?
It's a nice treat and feels like you're doing something happy for yourself, which is part of the whole beauty battle I think, but I'm not going to keep stocking it once I'm out.
Application is odd. There is a sticky substance that you try to distribute evenly (started peeling off during application) then you wait about 10 minutes and rub off. It left my skin feeling clean after using it but I haven't seen a noticeable difference in my pores - as other reviewers have seen. I bought the product based on rave reviews but have seen similar results with other products, feeling clean at first but nothing real noticeable the next day.3
This was the reason i joined BB. I really wanted to sample this BB cream and when i finally did I was a bit disappointing. It was a bit heavy for a bb cream and didnt really do much for my skin. I prefer the marcelle bb cream over this one.3
So far, I haven't had any results. In fact, I think it may be the cause of some of my newer blemishes. I am not sure if this is a product that makes it worse before it gets better, or if this will just make it worse.3
I found that this product worked about every other time until I got the hang of it. I still am not sure what the 'hang of it' means, but I had to find the right balance between too little and too much. If I used it correctly I definitely saw a difference in my blackheads and pores. Regardless if I used it correctly or not, usually the next day I could tell my T-zone got a little TLC from the product.3
There are definitely mixed reviews of this product; some people have this amazing, pore-emptying experience and others have nothing. I would say I am right in the middle. I haven't noticed anything drastic with my pores but do feel like the product has done something to minimize them a bit and clean them out some. Yes, I did have a couple of little pimples pop up after using this but I expect that when using a new product and I haven't had any more breakouts after using the product another few times. Will I purchase this product again? I don't know, probably not, but if it continues to work the way it has I won't consider it money wasted.3
I don't know what I was expecting since I don't get a lot of blackheads, but it feels like I'm just putting oil on my face that never quite dries (even after the allotted 10 minutes). Other reviewers said when you rub it in, little pills of dirt/oil pile up - not for me. Disappointing $24.3
This product has ups and downs. It smells amazing, but isn't strong or purfumey. I used this the other day, and when I rolled it off (a sort of rough, dried-glue substance rolls off of your skin) my face had a thick layer of grease all over it. The 'rinse off' you're instructed to do on the bottle would hardly be sufficient. I washed my face twice after applying. I was so upset, and ready to box it up to return, but when I got out of the shower and looked in the mirror my pores were clear. I have had blackheads for 12 years, and I really felt like my skin was finally glowing. The downside is that opening up pores that have been stretched out for so long means they just pour out oil until they oxidize again, and you're practically back to square one (not to mention my pores over-producing has caused a couple large, painful blemishes). I used this again tonight with much less successful results. Much less 'glue' rolled off, and it didn't really do anything for my blackheads at all. Maybe I have a dud batch, but I don't know that I want to keep this. It strikes me as a gimmicky version of 'the OCM'.3
I don't know if I just need to use it more or what, but I haven't noticed a differene in my skin. It goes on really nicely and smells great - but I haven't noticed a change in my t-zone yet. Will try a couple more times - may be returning - which is sad because I am obsessed with the detox BB cream by Dr Jart!3
