Too expensive; buy the real stuff instead

I've been using Lansinoh on my lips for 12 years -- it's the same product (but marketed to breastfeeding mothers for their nipples). You get 1.4 ounces for about $6-$9 (depending on the store --grocery, Target, WalMart, etc.), instead of this puny 1/2 ounce size for $14. If you want a small size for your purse, just squeeze some into an empty lipgloss pot, put it in the microwave until it melts into liquid; put it in the fridge until it hardens again and -- voila! -- you have the perfect lipbalm/gloss. It's the best thing out there for your lips, hands down. I swear by it and would never use anything else.

Amazing product!
Purchased

I have tried more lip products than I can remember. Everything from drugstore chapsticks to Dior lip balm, and high end lip glosses by the dozen. This balm is my new top product. What i like about it: It has no scent, no funky chemical or artificial taste (it doesnt taste like anything actually) and when I rub my lips together with this on its very moisturized and smooth, not sticky. I can put this on in the morning, run errands and come back home and it is still on my lips. Great lasting power. Now that the weather is getting colder I have also dabbed a little on dry patches on my face/cuticles and it works well. Highly recommend!!!

Great lip balm
Sampled

Very moisturizing. A little bit sticky so I wouldn’t wear it once my hair is done but I love using it before bed or just around the house when my lips needed some real help

1 star for the price...go look on amazon and about 1/20th the price

Come on guys read labels, this is straight up 100% lanolin, yep just lanolin nothing else fancy added. This is the same stuff breastfeeding women have used for years and years. You can buy the same stuff - 100% pharmaceutical grade lanolin - on amazon. You can find it for $14 for 8oz, this costs more and it's only 1/2 oz!

Great for your nipples
Sampled

I got this sample and actually used it for my nipples. They were dry and cracked from beginning to nurse my newborn. It worked very well!

Dr. Lip Nipple Balm
Purchased

When Dr. Lip changed this product from lip balm to nipple balm, something else changed. Does not do half the job that the lip balm did on my sons lips. Leaves a white crusty film and I need to remove it with a warm washcloth for him to be able to separate his lips when he wakens in the morning. This never occurred when it was the lip balm. So disappointed!

Just 100% lanolin
Purchased

I use this product as a lip balm/moisturizer and will swipe it on my cuticles when there is extra. There isn’t really anything to be impressed with by this. It is one ingredient which I can appreciate the simplicity of but don’t feel like it’s worth the cost. The balm does moisturize my lips well but I would not say it’s long lasting. As an extreme example, I’ve applied this on my lips prior to a 1 hr workout session and my lips felt dry by halfway - and my workouts are midrange intensity. In comparison with other lip balms, I don’t feel this one adds up. I’ve had much better luck with the laneige lip mask and even aquphor. Kiehls has a lip balm with lanolin AND spf. Overall, if the price was less it may be worth having as a good multi use tool to throw in your bag. I will keep it on hand for this reason! But I won’t repurchase

Works for everything

Very moisturizing and works for any sort of skin dryness. The only con is that it’s a bit sticky.

Healthy, hydrated lips!

This is the lip product I never knew I always wanted. This stuff works miracles on my dry cracked lips. Soothing and healing with a beautiful glossy finish.
