Discover the secret passed from nursing mothers to makeup artists. Originally created for new moms facing sore nipples from breastfeeding, Dr. Lipp's ultrahydrating, healing formula later gained a rep as the ultimate multipurpose balm among savvy makeup artists. And with everything it does (moisturize lips, make lipstick wear longer, add shine to cheeks, tame unruly eyebrows, and heal cuticles, split ends, sunburns, and dry skin), it'll earn a prized place in your makeup bag, too. A 2015 and 2016 bronze winner at the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards, the thick, rich, long-lasting formula is packed with all-natural ingredients and is clinically proven to repair rough, flaky lips and smooth dry skin patches.
I felt this was too thick and not really spreadable. I tried it on my lips but didn't enjoy that thick smeared-on feeling and couldn't fathom putting it on my face, not sure how anyone uses this as a multi purpose balm, I think it would seal my pores closed permanently!1
I hated the way that this felt on. SOOOO sticky. I don't care if it works or not, won't be using again based on how it feels when I apply it. And I'm sooo over nipple cream after breast feeding 3 kids, even if it's supposed to make my lips soft.1
What a sticky mess. Just like aquaphor.......only its as sticky as glue. Quite disgusting. Good luck if your hair blows in your face gets stuck to this stuff. Can you say Something about Marry.1
i thought this stuff would be better than it actually was. it goes on very thick but does not last long at all, wore off my lips within an hour. would never purchase1
I was so excited about trying this and when I got it I was dancing. The packaging was great and loved the safety seal.... then I attempted to squeeze a small amount in my finger and it was so thick it took alot to get it out. Then once it was on my finger i put alittle on my lips and it was thicker/ goopier then straight vaseline. Still tried it just to be fair and I don't think it lasted a whole 5 min on my lips. It was so horrible !!! Honestly I prefer Vaseline to this stuff hands down, and I can't stand vaseline. Needless to say this is something I am not impressed with because of the formula, but that is just because I am not a fan of the formula. Anything thick, greasy is total turn off for this girl. Went to my roommate.1
There is absolutely nothing special about this product. It is lanolin. Mothers have used this for years to treat cracked/sore nipples while breastfeeding. It is very thick and sticky...like a thicker, stickier vaseline. I would not buy this product.1
Very unimpressed. From what I've read, regular made-for-nipples lanolin cream would be a better multi-purpose goo than this. Felt like cheap, sticky lip gloss. Ok for cuticles and all that, but not for lips.1
This stuff is great for the lips, cuticles, where ever you need thick protection1
The balm was very sticky and did not have a nice flavor or scent. It also did not help with my chapped lips - it only hurt them worse. I would not recommend.1
I did not care for this product. It was too thick and heavy feeling on my lips and I didn't really notice any benefit at all. Definitely not a product I'd buy.1
