A 2015 and 2016 bronze winner at the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards, the thick, rich, long-lasting formula is packed with all-natural ingredients and is clinically proven to repair rough, flaky lips and smooth dry skin patches.
I didn't like how this felt on my lips - very heavy and greasy. It didn't seem to last long either. I didn't mind that it was unscented/had no flavor. I tried it on my elbows since they get dry in the winter, and it was OK. I would use it on areas other than my lips.2
I live in a very cold wintery area, and dry skin, particularly dry lips, plaques me! When I first put it on I loved the consistency. It has a very thick texture that I thought would be perfect for nighttime, however it didn't seem to absorb into my lips at all, and they actually felt dryer after using it for a few days. Right now I am using pure vitamin E oil at night and the fresh sugar lip treatment in rose during the day and having better luck with that regimen. I also exfoliate with brown sugar and olive oil once a week.2
This product is ok. I found it a little gummy, not as smooth as I would have liked.2
I really could use a product like this but the problem with this one was the fact that it was way too greasy. I continued to rub it in and it left way too much of a residue. I had to wipe it off continually. I get that it is supposed to leave a coating to a certain extent but what was remaining was way too much,2
I am not wild about this product, it is very thick and greasy and doesn't absorb into my lips. It basically feels (and looks) like I've smeared vaseline on my lips. I will say that it is long lasting, with other lip balms I often have to reapply frequently, whereas this one has staying power. However, I don't like the look or the feel.2
I did not care for the sticky feeling, the weird taste and smell, and the "results" from daily use. I don't understand the hype. I prefer Malin+Goetz mojito lip balm, better smelling and results for me.2
I thought this would be cool based on the name but the balm felt sticky and didn't appear to make my lips softer or much shinier.2
The lip balm definitely keeps my lips hydrated, without the overly sticky feel; however, there is no shine to the product. That leads me to say that the product is more of a chapstick than a lip gloss. It does stay put though and the packaging is cute! Small enough to tote around or throw in an office drawer.2
I ususally like something that feels a bit lighter on my lips, and this felt kind of heavy. But It did make them very smooth, and the product did last quite a while. So in the end it did its job, just not my preference.2
In all honesty, I didn't give this product a fair chance. The first time I used it I just felt like I was putting petroleum jelly on my lips (taste included). I am sure it works great but I would rather use something with a better smell/texture.2
