I put this on my dry lips and an hour later my lips were seriously chapped. Not effective as a lip balm2
This lip balm was tough to get out of the tube, and once I did, it really smelled pretty terrible. I did find it really moisturizing, but I couldn't get over the smell. Too many other products out there that do the same thing and smell far better (or don't smell at all!).Elle2
I like the fact that the product has no color or scent, I find that too many products have overwhelming scents. But for me it is a bit too thick/greasy and with the way the packaging is designed I a don't like having to apply it with my finger. It leaves me with needing to find a place to dispose of the excess. However it does seem like it would work well for very chapped lips.2
I didn't like how this felt on my lips - very heavy and greasy. It didn't seem to last long either. I didn't mind that it was unscented/had no flavor. I tried it on my elbows since they get dry in the winter, and it was OK. I would use it on areas other than my lips.2
I live in a very cold wintery area, and dry skin, particularly dry lips, plaques me! When I first put it on I loved the consistency. It has a very thick texture that I thought would be perfect for nighttime, however it didn't seem to absorb into my lips at all, and they actually felt dryer after using it for a few days. Right now I am using pure vitamin E oil at night and the fresh sugar lip treatment in rose during the day and having better luck with that regimen. I also exfoliate with brown sugar and olive oil once a week.2
This product is ok. I found it a little gummy, not as smooth as I would have liked.2
I really could use a product like this but the problem with this one was the fact that it was way too greasy. I continued to rub it in and it left way too much of a residue. I had to wipe it off continually. I get that it is supposed to leave a coating to a certain extent but what was remaining was way too much,2
I am not wild about this product, it is very thick and greasy and doesn't absorb into my lips. It basically feels (and looks) like I've smeared vaseline on my lips. I will say that it is long lasting, with other lip balms I often have to reapply frequently, whereas this one has staying power. However, I don't like the look or the feel.2
I did not care for the sticky feeling, the weird taste and smell, and the "results" from daily use. I don't understand the hype. I prefer Malin+Goetz mojito lip balm, better smelling and results for me.2
I thought this would be cool based on the name but the balm felt sticky and didn't appear to make my lips softer or much shinier.2
