Discover the secret passed from nursing mothers to makeup artists. Originally created for new moms facing sore nipples from breastfeeding, Dr. Lipp's ultrahydrating, healing formula later gained a rep as the ultimate multipurpose balm among savvy makeup artists. And with everything it does (moisturize lips, make lipstick wear longer, add shine to cheeks, tame unruly eyebrows, and heal cuticles, split ends, sunburns, and dry skin), it'll earn a prized place in your makeup bag, too. A 2015 and 2016 bronze winner at the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards, the thick, rich, long-lasting formula is packed with all-natural ingredients and is clinically proven to repair rough, flaky lips and smooth dry skin patches.
I really did not like this product. It's really thick & pulled on my chapped lips the first time I tried to apply it. Warming it up in my hands helped a little but it took a lot of friction to get even small improvements in consistency. Once applied it did have a long lasting protection on my chapped lips but I don't feel that the application struggle was worth it.1
Application is very thick, and instead of spreading on like you'd expect, it cakes on and comes off with natural movements.1
Disgusting. I was horrified. Had to really put some muscle in to squeezing the product out... It came out in a small chunk. I immediatly threw it out.1
I do not believe this is a bad product it just really isn't a good product for me. Unlike many other reviewers I found it to be extremely sticky and unpleasant to use. I just don't like products that thick and goopy on my lips. Although it is unscented I find it has a slight natural scent that I also find extremely off putting. I'm sure it's a great product just not a great product for me.1
It went on too strong and it felt heavy like vaseline. It also had a bit of a shimmer to it that made me nervous to try it again. I tend to react to lip glosses that have glitter substances in them.1
I hated this product.... it was gloppy and sticky!1
It's too sticky. It feels and look like Vaseline and smell very similar to Vaseline but Vaseline is cheaper.1
did not love - did not really enjoy the sticky-ness of product1
Super greasy and it tasted and smelled horrible. I applied it and wiped it right back off because it was disgusting. Definitley not a fan of this product at all.1
I could not tell any difference form using this product versus using plain Vaseline. One is a lot less expensive then the other.1
