My daughters and I all got to try it and were satisfied4
I love lip products. I'm always on the lookout for a cool new shade of lipstick, or a fun new lipbalm, so when I saw this in my box, I was pumped. But after just one use, my mind was made up.
This is not for me.
I think the thing that turned me the most off the product was the texture and consistency. I'm not sure if my room was too cold, or if I should have held the tube in my hand for a few moments before use, but it was THICK. Like, holy wow thick. Like a paste. I expected it to thin out a bit as I put it on my lips, but nope. It felt like I was pushing goo around on my lips. It felt...heavy? It didn't just kind of melt into my skin, I swore I could still feel it sitting there for a good 5, 10 minutes after application. Not the kind of lip gear I'd like to have.
Beyond that, I feel like it didn't really do much? I've used up my sample, but I didn't feel any difference from say...badger balm or eos or even the baby lips from maybelline. I'd even say those other brands are better.
Not my cup of tea, in short.
I purchased this product after trying my sample just 2 times. I've always struggled with dry, peeling and sensitive lips but this has made a dramatic difference. I love that it has no color or smell or even taste. My boyfriend even tried it and I bought him a full sized container too! We will use this for a long time I think.5
What a great product! Such an awesome product! Definitely restored moisture and helps heal cracked skin5
This would either be great for you, or you may find it to be a bit thick. I personally like a really light feeling on my lips, so this was a bit too heavy for my personal taste. It definitely moisturizes though!3
Excellent moisturizing product for chapped lips. I would recommend it!3
My beauty style tends to vary. I either wear nothing, or go all out, depending on the day. However, I almost never wear anything but balm on my lips. My lips tend to dry out easily, so great, soothing lip balm is essential. I have always used Blistex Lip Medex (blue tub) for the last 10 years or so. This has switched me over entirely. It is thick, lasts for hours longer than anything else I have ever used and I can use it as a primer under lipstick when I do use lip color. When I first received the sample, my lips were having a particularly dry spell, from the season change, and were painfully chapped and sore. This improved them within 24 hours.
In addition to my lips, I have used it on dry spots around my cuticles and fingers that I tend to get in autumn, and it has made them go away! Took longer than my lips, but using it daily (just using the excess after I applied to my lips), it has made these dry bits disappear when normally I would need oils and heavy lotions for months, multiple times a day, to get rid of them. The sample lasted about two weeks, but after a week I purchased a full size. Even though it is expensive, for what it does it is worth every penny. The regular size is five times the size of the sample, so it should last me nearly three months I believe. Get this! I am sending it to every person I get holiday presents for this year (if I can bear to part with it after ordering it)!
This product dried out my lips and caused them to crack. Not exactly the hydration I thought I'd get from a utter balm type of product.1
As soon as a squeezed a tiny bit on my fingertip, I could feel how thick it was so I just put it on my husbands knees because they are so ashy and rough that nothing had worked on them so just as I was giving up, this product came through for him. His knee is not ashy throughout the entire day and it's a lot better than trying to rub lemon on it.5
This product wasn't bad but i honestly prefer blistex and it is only 1.50.3
