This product works well. The feel is not my favorite but it may not bother others. It is worth a try.4
But, it really is amazing! My lips look more healthy and vibrant. Only downside is that the first 5 or so minutes after you put it on, it's kind of goopy. I wore it overnight and my lips looks amazing the next morning!4
Full disclosure: I HATE the goopy feeling of wearing lipgloss or lipstick during the day and only wear lip balm when I'm in dire need; something about eating, drinking, smoking, or doing anything involving my coated lips touching a foreign object gives me the heebie jeebies, so I inevitably end up wiping whatever lip product off on the back of my hand to avoid spreading goopiness onto said object. That being said, I still suffer from severely chapped lips from time to time, especially in the brutal Southern California winters, and that's where Dr. Lipp's Nipple Balm comes to the rescue. For the sake of research, I've been applying the balm to my lips before bed the past few days, and they've never been smoother. Although it's pretty thick and borderline goopy, it definitely does the trick and holds up to its claims. I don't have any patches of dry skin yet, but I'm excited to try it out for that when the time comes. A little bit of product goes a long way, so the sample from my October Birchbox should last for a long time, but should I ever run out and find myself in need of moisturized lips, I'd consider buying the full-sized tube. So far, so good!5
Feels so smooth on my lips. I like that it is not scented and it lasts a long time5
It works well if your lips are chapped but it's very heavy on your lips. Much better on elbows and hands.3
Basing my review off the sample alone it's hard to know if I would like it over the long term, but it was pretty good. My favorite thing about it was that I could feel it on my lips even hours after applying. There is no smell or taste to it which I am not yet sure how I fell about that, but it does work well under a lip stick to smooth out your lips.4
I always wanted to try this lip balm and was so glad I finally got the chance- it's my new favorite!!5
I had trouble getting over the texture at first. However, this is a great thick cream with many uses. I use it on my hands and they feel heavenly4
This will be very helpful in the upcoming winter. A little bit goes a long way, and my lips stay hydrated well into the day with just on use in the morning. It works well with other lip stick and it's great on its own.5
Terrible name. Product is hard to squeeze from tube. Feels a little like thick petroleum jelly. I will try it as a foot moisturizer to soften callouses.3
