Discover the secret passed from nursing mothers to make-up artists. Originally created for new mothers facing sore nipples from breastfeeding, Dr. Lipp's ultrahydrating, healing formula later gained a rep as the ultimate lip gloss, primer, and multipurpose balm among savvy makeup artists. And with everything it does—prep lips to make lipstick wear better, add shine to cheeks, even tame unruly eyebrows—it'll earn a prized place in your makeup bag too. Packed with all-natural ingredients, this thick, rich, long-lasting formula is clinically proven to repair rough, flaky lips and smooth dry skin patches—plus it helps heal cuticles, split ends, sunburns, and itchy dry skin.
I have severely chapped lips that are further exacerbated by the changing weather. Dr. Lipp's Original Nipple Balm for Lips took my lips from painful and cracked to smooth, silky, and sexy. The only complaint I have is that the thickness of the balm makes it take a while to absorb into skin, especially on dry lips.5
Very effective and definitely protected my lips. The first time I tried it was during the day and it was very sticky so now I just put it on before bed and I wake up with very soft lips. I love this product, especially in the winter while my lips are getting very dry.4
This product is perfect fir keeping lips soft and moisturized during this cold season. After using it for one day, my lips instantly felt better5
This stuff is amazing! I cannot wait to have it with me all winter long, it works better than anything I have ever used.5
This is super hydrating, stays on well, and is actually very pretty!5
This feels like a serious lip balm. It has the texture of vaseline. Lips look nice after putting it on -- not too shiny. The packaging is the big issue. With such a thick, sticky formula it is pretty annoying to have to apply with my finger. The opening (of the sample, at least, was too small and sharp to apply directly to my lip.4
Loved it but the name didnt settle well with me, maybe a new brand name?3
the balm is very very thick. it lasts for hours and has a great shine, but it feels kinda weird. also, my lips felt dryer than before once it wore off.4
I used this until it was gone. I only used it on my lips. It made them super soft and shiny!5
I heard good and bad things so I just wanted to try it out myself! I personally think it feels like lipgloss. Possibly cheap lipgloss because it's sticky. I feel like during the fall and winter this product could be very useful. The fact that I do my nails a lot, I will probably purchase this for my cuticles but for my lips just when it gets cold and my lips get chapped. If this works with mothers, I would purchase this when I have children.4
