This product felt lovely when applied. Not much smell or taste (since it is pure lanolin - I think that is a plus) - and it left my lips feeling smoother and more moisturized even when it wears/rubs off. A definite re-buy for me!5
I really love the Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips. Made my lips feel amazing, super soft, and look fantastic. Definitely recommend.5
This product is definitely good to put on before bed if you don't want to use vaseline which soaks into lips quite fast. It, however, does not necessarily help heal the chapped lips. Its more of a proactive layer that is added. Its good in winter when your lip gloss or chapstick doesnt do the trick. Its an easy product to use but for those really chapped lips this is not strong enough. Smell is fine as well.4
I loved this and as small as my sample was it was perfect for my purse! The husband even liked it cause it wasn't girly like most chap sticks4
This saved my life. I had incredibly chapped lips after a long swim meet and needed a quick fix before school the next day. I felt kinda funny putting "nipple cream" on my lips but it worked so cool4
While this product was moisturizing for the lips, I don't think it was any more hydrating than a normal chapstick/lip balm.
It feels like it creates a plastic-ey barrier on the lips, and just sits there. It feels like it's only moisturizing while it's on the lip, and doesn't actually get absorbed or leave any lasting hydration. However, I could imagine this being good for extremely frigid, windy weather because it does sit on the lips for a long time, and through drinking.
My other complaint is that while it's just sitting there on the lips, it's extremely sticky. And I know that most lip products are somewhat sticky, but this takes it to a whole next level.
If you're looking for something that will leave lasting hydration and moisture, even after the product is off the lips, this isn't for you.
I love how hydrating this lip balm is. While some won't appreciate how thick it is I didn't mind it. Adds a nice shine too.
Loved using this as a glossy shine over my other lip products or when my lips are super dry5
Heard of nipple balm but never gave it the test until now and I'm sold! Great for lips, hands .. anywhere I had dry skin was awesome and highly effective5
Definitely raised an eyebrow when I pulled this sample out of my Birchbox ("Nipple balm...for lips...?")...I suppose if I was a nursing mother I'd have more use for this product. It's too thick to use as an everyday lip balm, so I use it to keep my lips from drying out and cracking whenever I break out my tooth-bleaching kit.3
