Discover the secret passed from nursing mothers to make-up artists. Originally created for new mothers facing sore nipples from breastfeeding, Dr. Lipp’s ultra hydrating, healing formula later gained a rep as the ultimate lip gloss, primer and multipurpose balm among savvy London makeup artists.
Very healing, however I mostly wore it at night because of the sticky factor. I brought it with me on my trip to Quebec in January and it froze since it was in a tube. Definitely a winter balm4
I enjoyed the sample but it was too small for me to really get to use it. Might try larger size in the future.3
This is a great product. I used it for my chapped lips, dry skin on my son's face, rough elbows...sample was too small though.4
This balm really does keep your lips moisturize and adds gloss to them without looking too cheap. I put some on before bed and my lips are perfect waking up. I might add a little during the day to add some gloss.4
This is my favorite lip product sample by far! Definitely recommended.5
The name was a little weird, but the product is great! Perfect overnight lip treatment. It didn't feel all that greasy but moisturized very well.5
I had never heard of this brand before. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. I have been wearing it alone because it feels so nice on my lips. Kind of looks like a vaseline-type product, but it is light and just the right amount of hydration and my lips just feel so much better (they are VERY chapped and splitting and peeling). It just feels good on. No weird scents or flavours. It's a mixture of balm and gloss. It's heavy enough to protect and heal and glossy enough to wear alone. It makes my lips supple without being sticky. The only reason it got 4 stars and not 5 is because the sample was SO small. That said, I am going to buy the full-sized product and I recommend it for lips that needs some TLC. Good stuff!4
I enjoyed this product sample a lot! I usually use Aquaphor on a daily basis for my lips but this product was almost as great. I will stick to Aquaphor because it is much cheaper. I'd recommend this if you want to splurge :)4
This balm gloss hybrid was wonderful! Felt nice and thick, was shiny (sticky too) which was super super hydrating. I live in the desert so it has helped prevent the morning cracked lips that I tend to get when I forget to put balm before bed!5
I tried a sample of this in my box nearly a year ago, and I love it. When it was done, I wasn't sure about committing to the $14 tube, so I went Build Your Own Birchbox and put it in that box.....
Needless to say, I never stopped loving it, and bought the tube.
This lip balm contains lanolin, which heals skin at an amazing rate. Its not sticky, and can be used on other dry skin patches. If you use this, you can eliminate doing the lips scrubs to take of dry skin, etc. It even gives you a bit of a shiny gloss effect. This does it all!!
