Discover the secret passed from nursing mothers to makeup artists. Originally created for new moms facing sore nipples from breastfeeding, Dr. Lipp's ultrahydrating, healing formula later gained a rep as the ultimate multipurpose balm among savvy makeup artists. And with everything it does (moisturize lips, make lipstick wear longer, add shine to cheeks, tame unruly eyebrows, and heal cuticles, split ends, sunburns, and dry skin), it'll earn a prized place in your makeup bag, too. A 2015 and 2016 bronze winner at the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards, the thick, rich, long-lasting formula is packed with all-natural ingredients and is clinically proven to repair rough, flaky lips and smooth dry skin patches.
I keep this product in my purse to use mostly on dry cuticles and my lips, but it works great wherever you put it. It does take a few minutes for it to soap into your skin, but it does wonders. Never leave home without it, it's a life saver in the winter time.5
4 stars because the packaging leaves room for improvement and it's pricey for what it is (and such unglamorous packaging) ... But the formula is great for winter lips.4
Love this lip balm
Let me start off by mentioning that I am a lip balm addict and very picky. This stuff may seem sticky to some but i love the smooth rich feeling it gives my lips.
Overnight i'll saturate it on and wake up with kissable smooch.
I use this for my cuticles and hands in the winter and it keeps them soft and repairs cracks! Perfect for then, but I don't use it any time else.4
This product definitely does moisturize. It's consistency is what would be expected of nipple cream, similar to a very thick vasalene. I personally wish is hadn't been quite so thick, but it does exactly what it is supposed to3
I bought this product because it seems to help my dry lips. It is a bit thick, but it does the job. I use it before bedtime and in the morning, my lips are much better. The price is a bit much, but I really like the product, so I'm sold.5
I like this product for moisturizing my lips at night. It is deeply moisturizing. Only drawback is how thick and sticky it is.4
This lip balm is the best thing I have ever used in my entire life. I am one of those people who have to have chap stick or lip gloss in my pocket. This has taken all the other's place in my pocket. My mom took my sample away from me when I received the one I ordered.5
I finally got around to trying this. Was amazed at the thick consistency, but boy does it lock in moisture. I put it on before bed at night and then my lipstick goes on great in the morning, but too thick to wear during the day.4
this is like the british version of acquafor. i haven't tried it on the my nipples but i do use it for the lips. a little goes a long way. my birchbox sample size lasted awhile.5
