I am a lifelong sufferer of chronic chapped lips, which turns out, is a real thing. When my lips are looking extra dry and feel like the Sahara desert, I slap some of this stuff on right before I go to bed and my lips are perfectly healed by the morning. It's like petroleum jelly on steroids and a must for any chapped lip lady (or fella).5
A friend told me to consider this product as I love to put a vaseline type product on my lips all the time. I do like the product glides on nicely but it felt a little sticky and didn't moisturize as I wanted it to.
Pretty much same ish as Aquaphor. But a bill times more expahhhnsive. Ain't great. Don't love it. Wouldn't buy again. Meh. Peace out.2
Obsessed with this stuff! It's truly the best for chapped or dry lips. It's like Vaseline on steroids. Plus the name is cheeky ;)4
The taste of this product was very off putting for me. Definitely didn't enjoy it.1
I am obsessed with lip balms -- I just counted 8 tubes in the top drawer of my bedside table -- and this is the very best of the best. I tend to have dry skin/lips, and living in a dry climate can be really irritating. Some of the balms that I've tried do moisturize well, but they don't last long enough; those that last longer seem to lack the healing properties I'm looking for. Dr. Lipp's product has both essential qualities -- It stays on for hours, soothing and healing my lips while giving them a nice fullness and a natural-looking sheen. It's great under AND over lipstick. After applying to my lips, I rub a little balm onto my cuticles (nothing works better! From hot summers to abrasive winters, this is one of my true essentials.
I get super dry lips in the winter time and spring when my allergies kick in. Although most chap sticks can combat the dry lips, sometimes I find myself needing to continue to use chap sticks and lip balms all the time, as if those products aren't actually healing my lips. I found this product fit that aspect perfectly. A few uses of this, and my lips were less dry, but I didn't need to continue to use the product to keep my lips moisturized. In my opinion, it was perfect.4
I have used this on my lips and actually on my cuticles too. I have super dry hands and my cuticles always get dry, when I place this on them it moisturizes and stays.4
I bought a tube of this over a year ago and still have it! A little goes a long way with the product so you can stretch this tube for a while. Most recently I've been using it to moisturize my eye area after I had an allergic reaction to some cosmetics. It's been the only product I've used that hasn't made an already sensitive area more sensitive. After two days of moisturizing my eye area with this the rash has almost completely disappeared and my skin is starting to look normal again. This is a great product and would definitely recommend to anyone!5
This stuff gets my lips back into amazing shape! I used it habitually throughout the cold winter, and my lips did not crack or chap! One tube has lasted me for months!5
