Discover the secret passed from nursing mothers to makeup artists. Originally created for new moms facing sore nipples from breastfeeding, Dr. Lipp's ultrahydrating, healing formula later gained a rep as the ultimate multipurpose balm among savvy makeup artists. And with everything it does (moisturize lips, make lipstick wear longer, add shine to cheeks, tame unruly eyebrows, and heal cuticles, split ends, sunburns, and dry skin), it'll earn a prized place in your makeup bag, too. A 2015 and 2016 bronze winner at the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards, the thick, rich, long-lasting formula is packed with all-natural ingredients and is clinically proven to repair rough, flaky lips and smooth dry skin patches.
I really liked this product. It seemed similar to Vaseline which I would probably buy instead because it's almost the exact same thing for a fraction of the cost. It has an interesting marketing strategy with calling it nipple balm.5
I did not like the packaging AT ALL -- it doesn't feel like you are putting lip balm on but rather lotion on your lips which is weird... Additionally I did not like the texture because it too felt like putting lotion on my lips. My lips felt oily afterwards, something I have never felt from a product... Would not recommend this product...1
I haven't used this much for myself yet (I might upgrade the rating when I do), but it was very helpful in healing my daughter's chapped lips.4
I was really surprised and love this product! I have also used it on my elbows and it works wonders!! highly recommend4
This lip balm is amazing! At first I was a little weirded out that it was originally for nursing mothers' chapped nipples, but after reading that models in London swear by it, I gave it a chance. I absolutely love that it doesn't have a scent. It works instantly. I'm addicted... Definitely buying it.5
I found it too thick to keep reapplying on my lips, I much prefer using it on dry parts of my body like ankles or elbows. Overall a nice product, I recommend it.4
This product goes on smooth and moisturizes well. However, it does seem to get clumpy and therefore I wouldn't purchase it.3
This is a great multipurpose balm, I personally use it on my lips. It makes them so soft and silky. I recommended it for sure!5
Fantastic time of year to try this one out! Helped my dry super-chapped lips. Took me a bit to get past the gross name, though.4
My lips get extremely dry as a side effect from a lot of medications I take. I have searched high and low to find something that I didnt have to reapply every 5 minutes and this does the trick. I am very pleased with the length of time it protects my lips.5
