Discover the secret passed from nursing mothers to make-up artists. Originally created for new mothers facing sore nipples from breastfeeding, Dr. Lipp's ultrahydrating, healing formula later gained a rep as the ultimate lip gloss, primer, and multipurpose balm among savvy London makeup artists. Packed with all-natural ingredients, this thick, rich, long-lasting formula is clinically proven to repair rough, flaky lips and smooth dry skin patches. But that's only the beginning of what it can do: This hydrating, protective formula helps heal cuticles, split ends, sunburns, itchy dry skin, and even diaper rash. It can also solve a range of beauty conundrums, from stopping sequins from chafing and smoothing unruly eyebrow hairs to subbing in as a last-minute shoe polish.
I love how this adds moisture and shine to my lips without being tacky or worrying about getting my hair stuck in it.5
This product did exactly what it said it did. Super hydrating and moisturizing. When I first applied it, I didn't expect much. But wow was I surprised.5
The consistency of this balm is too tacky/sticky for daily use. But it's nice to put on overnight, and really helps rejuvenate chapped winter lips.5
I'm a total lip balm snob. I spent my early years with Burt's, I've had a fling with EOS, I've even had a long affair with Aquaphor; I'm been married to vaseline for years--but Dr. Lipp is what I save for when I really need it. You absolutely do not need to reapply, and I've never felt anything so hydrating. Plus it keeps my lips super shiny (like that clear gloss you used to wear in middle school?). I'm in love, and just in time for winter.5
I really like the consistentcy of this product and that I can use it on my hands, lips, and yes, nips or my baby's skin. I finally have a formidable defense against the cold, dry weather!5
Definitely a new favorite of mine. Creamy and has a great taste and flavor. Moisturizes your lips perfectly.5
My husband and I went to the movies today and he was complaining of chapped lips and asked if I had anything that didn't "sparkle" with me...well I had just received my Birchbox and in it...Dr. Lipp's Nipple Balm for Lips. He put some on (a little skeptically) and we watched the movie. Afterwards, he asked for it again, and said he'd keep the sample with him...I needed to order a full size version ASAP. It's thick and smooth, and heals chapped lips so quickly. Great for men & women...this may be stocking stuffers this year!5
love it for my lips. I also tried it on my elbows as well. Zero taste and melts in quickly,5
This is a good lip product, but with so many great ones there I just don't use it very often. It is awkward to apply. It squeezes out of the bottle like a lotion would, you have to use your finger to get it on. It gives a nice shine like a lip gloss, but while actually moisturizing and without the sticky feel. This is great if you want that lip gloss look, but not to replace your favorite chap stick or lip butter.3
I've gotten this as a sample before and I will say, it is very hydrating. I imagine that it would be very effective in colder climates that result in severe chapped lips. But for everyday wear, it's just a little too sticky for me.4
