Discover the secret passed from nursing mothers to make-up artists. Originally created for new mothers facing sore nipples from breastfeeding, Dr. Lipp's ultrahydrating, healing formula later gained a rep as the ultimate lip gloss, primer, and multipurpose balm among savvy London makeup artists. Packed with all-natural ingredients, this thick, rich, long-lasting formula is clinically proven to repair rough, flaky lips and smooth dry skin patches. But that's only the beginning of what it can do: This hydrating, protective formula helps heal cuticles, split ends, sunburns, itchy dry skin, and even diaper rash. It can also solve a range of beauty conundrums, from stopping sequins from chafing and smoothing unruly eyebrow hairs to subbing in as a last-minute shoe polish.
The name makes me laugh and embarrassed to pull out of my bag in public but works fantastically and quickly! great to put on at night
Very, very sticky and thick. I think it could at least use a tube that allows you to put it directly onto your lips. As for lip balm, I don't think it remedied my dryness more than any of the other leading brands.3
I definitely prefer this product over a standard chapstick. I felt that it was very moisturing, and although it was heavy on the lips it was not a "bad" heavy...it still has a slippery texture. I also felt that it added an awesome protective layer!5
Odd name but decent product although I would say it is a bit pricey when there are other similar products available over the counter. I used it on my hands as it was too heavy and gooey for my lips or hair. The sample was too small to tell if repeated use would make a difference.3
This product is thick and works great to apply at night! I wake up with super soft lips!5
Good, thick, but coats lips well to protect. I think it would work well smoothed over my regular lipstick as well.4
Bought this product for winter chapped lips. Did a good job of making my lips soft. Not sure if the price is worth the small container.4
i love how this makes my lips look and feel. i dab very little of it on my lips and it goes a long way.5
I heard great things about this nipple balm for lips, and I was excited to try it. The product is thick for a balm, which would be okay if it absorbed into your lips. My biggest gripe is that it doesn't absorb into your lips, so you feel a thick substance on your lips. The product also smells and tastes on the medicinal side. As for effectiveness, my lips were still chapped after using this product. For me, it is an average lip balm.4
I think this product was great. I loved the texture. I would have liked a bigger size but other than that I thought the product was great.5
