Discover the secret passed from nursing mothers to make-up artists. Originally created for new mothers facing sore nipples from breastfeeding, Dr. Lipp's ultrahydrating, healing formula later gained a rep as the ultimate lip gloss, primer, and multipurpose balm among savvy makeup artists. And with everything it does—prep lips to make lipstick wear better, add shine to cheeks, even tame unruly eyebrows—it'll earn a prized place in your makeup bag too. Packed with all-natural ingredients, this thick, rich, long-lasting formula is clinically proven to repair rough, flaky lips and smooth dry skin patches—plus it helps heal cuticles, split ends, sunburns, and itchy dry skin.
If you have to battle extremely dry lips, this stuff will probably work wonders for you. Put some on at night before bed, or use during the day IF you don't mind the thickness and sticky factor. I wouldn't use it on a day-to-day basis unless I was having some serious dry-lip issues.4
Not sure if I would ever use this but I have received this sample twice and I was not that impressed--very ok!3
This product provides great protection for your lips and face in the cold weather. It lasted a long time on my lips and is great under your favorite lipstick.5
I received a sample of this month's ago and thought it was ok then but recently started using it a lot now that it has gotten cooler and dry. It really helps my lips stay smooth and I like to put it on parts of my hands that really show the dryness.4
I wasn't wowed by this product, its not awful just not the best for dry skin. I will use my sample but wouldnt purchase it I dont like the texture of it on my face is all too thick for me!4
This product is fantastic for dry, cracked lips. My lips stop peeling as soon as I apply it and stay moisturized for hours.5
My lips get so dry during the winter and this product helps heal them! I love using it at night and can still feel it working when I wake up in the morning. Its very thick so its kind of hard to squeeze out of the tiny tube. You don't need much though.5
This product has so many uses, it amazes me. I used it on my elbows, which were dried out, and then on my lips and it left both places very smooth. It goes on a little thick so I recommend only using a little but it absorbs well and I would recommend it to anyone that has dry skin anywhere on their body.4
I love Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips, it's one of my favorite products. A little strange at first considering what it was initially created for, but my lips have never felt better. The lustrous shine doesn't hurt either. I highly recommend this product to anyone! No sticky residue and no gross leftovers either.5
Winter snuck in on me but I'm so happy I always keep some of this in my bag. As soon as my lips even slightly started to feel sore I used this religiously anf had zero problem! !!!5
