As artists from Da Vinci to Banksy can attest, the canvas as is important as the art itself. And the right primer—which camouflages fine lines, dry patches, and deep pores—does the same for your makeup. This silicone-based formula does all that, plus extends the life and vibrancy of your color cosmetics, providing the perfect opportunity to indulge your inner artist and let your creativity reign free.
I finally decided to toss this after trying it a few times. It glides on nice but when I try to put my makeup on over it I just get a clumpy mess.1
Nice feel, disappears well onto skin. But in my opinion-Smashbox's primer is much better, it has visual "softening" that I didn't see from Lancome's product.1
Not too impressed with this product. I feel that it is not the best primer that you can get for this amount of money. I did like the fact that it covered my pores pretty well.2
I found the amount of silicone in this product congests my skin. I normally find this with primers, however, and can't wear them on a regular basis. Maybe this will work better for someone else.2
Smashbox makes a brand of this called Photo Finish foundation primer that works a lot better. Lancome's was somewhat watered down compared to Smashbox's so I felt I didn't get as good of coverage from there's.2
I've tried nearly every primer out there and can safely that this hasn't been the most impressive. benefit's porefessional, revlon color stay primer and loreal's primer all surpass this one at least in terms of smoothing the skin and improving skin's texture. This just felt like another layer under makeup.2
I like to use a primer to minimize flaws, and L'ancome has a a great reputation. While it performed alright, the silicone feel was a little alarming. I'd prefer something with a more natural feel.2
This is not my favorite primer. I really do not like that it's silicone based, which makes me break out.2
I have deep pores and this product didn't do anything to smooth them out. It does go on smoothly, but certainly doesn't deliver on the promises. I used a pea sized amount and after about an hour my lines and pores were more visible than ever.2
It made me feel greasy. Never used a primer before so I have nothing to compare it to.2
