With everything we’ve heard about the potentially harmful toxins lurking in our products, it's a relief to find a brand that is completely worry-proof. Not only does 100% Pure use—you guessed it—exclusively natural and organic ingredients, but they also engineer their formulas to be even more effective than conventional products. This hydrating body lotion will turn even the pickiest skeptic into a card-carrying believer.
This was included in my Birchbox as an extra addition. It was a nice surprise to see and the quality of the product made it one of my favorite parts of my box. It smells nice and I like that it is natural!4
I'm going to start off by saying this made my skin feel like butter. But, it also left a very chalky feeling on the palm of my hands and fingers, and it was uncomfortable to the point where I washed it off. Furthermore, it has all these really great natural ingredients which is why I like Pure products, but the smell was so overbearingly sweet I couldn't appreciate it as much as I wanted to.2
I'm not super loyal to body lotion brands, so I was happy to see the lotion samples in my birchbox. I used the first one on my legs, and I had 2 initial thoughts: 1- the texture is a little crumbly, 2- the smell is overpowering. While it soaked in pretty quickly, and the smell seemed to fade, I just wasn't impressed overall. I like moisturizers that really feel soft and velvety, with a lighter scent, and this was neither of those.3
It was a nice lotion and smelled good (I got green apple). It was also cool that the ingredients were all natural. However, beyond that, I don't think it was anything too special.3
I thought I would love this lotion, but it didn't do much for my dry skin. Drugstore brands like Aveeno work much better.
I tried the apple version of this lotion, and the scent was not one that I would normally choose or wear. On the other hand, it did not offend me.
I loved this product, it really made my skin feel smooth and hydrated. I got the green apple scent, but I'd love to smell the coconut or vanilla scents5
This cream smells great! like a jolly rancher in green apple. however, I find it doesnt keep the moisture in. After application within an hour or two my hands feel dry. I do love that it is 100% natural and vegan but I think they may have sacrificed some of the moisturizers for this quality.3
This lotion smells really good when you first put it on, but quickly starts to make your hands smell like clay..kind of weird. I used it for 3 nights in a row on my extremely dry and cracking hands and it didn't seem to make a difference at all :-( Just not for me, especially for the price3
I received the coconut scented sample and it smells amazing! It's a very thick consistency- kind of like a body butter, but it left my skin feeling silky, without the weight of a greasy lotion. I've never given too much consideration to organic/ natural body products, but it is becoming more of an issue for me recently. Loved this stuff!5
I received this lotion in the Vanilla Bean scent. While the lotion itself felt nice on my skin and moisturized nicely, and I appreciate the fact that it is all natural, I did not care for the smell of this lotion at all. The vanilla bean scent was way too strong and it made me smell like syrup.2
