If the phrase “your highness” makes you think of an aging queen with a helmet head of gray hair, you need to get out more. This volume-boosting mousse bestows even the lowliest commoner with a much more rock ‘n’ roll version of royal hair. The fast-acting formula takes hair to new heights and lasts for hours—so you can spend more time cavorting with dukes and princes.
I just now got around to trying this product, and I really like it! I have SUPER fine hair so I am constantly on a quest for volume. I haven't used it with my normal styling routine (wash, blowdry completely, straighten) but I have been putting it on my roots and blasting it a little with the blow dryer, then letting my hair air dry with surf spray. It makes my hair have more volume and makes my natural texture look more presentable, whereas normally my hair would be flat on top of my head.4
This product leaves a weird residue on my hair that is less than desirable. My hair feels hard and the product does not smell great either. I also did not notice a boost in volume.2
This product definitely does what it says it does. I have naturally blah hair. I spray this on the roots every morning and I get a noticeable life that lasts throughout the day. I will definitely be purchasing more when it runs out.5
Great size sample and really good product! I would definitely recommend.4
When I first got this sample, I wasn't in love with it. I tried it and could take it or leave it. It wasn't until month 2 or 3 that I discovered it's potential. I used it differently than directed. I sprayed it in 3 inch long bursts into my hair at the roots focusing on my crown area only. I sectioned parts of my crown area and applied it like it was a foaming hair color. I then used a wide-tooth comb to distribute remaining product through the rest of my (fine, colored, shoulder-length) hair.
I do my make up first then my hair. Well, the longer this stuff stayed in my hair even as it air-dried I could see results. When I got around to blow-drying my hair I actually had volume and lift on top of my head. You couldn't see the top of my scalp anymore. I looked like I had more hair than I actually do. Love that.
This product had an interesting scent to it. Not one of my favorites for a hair product, and it sort of worked, but I already have a root boosting regime.3
I've been using this product every time I style my hair for probably 2 years now - its a must have in my beauty arsenal.
I have fine but abundant hair that gets weighed down easily and tends to lay flat without some serious intervention. This product gives me the volume I love without a lot of struggle.
With that said, it can be tricky to use. With this product, less is definitely more. If you use too much, it can get very sticky and drying.
Apply only to the roots or you'll have to fight frizz. I part my hair in a few places, spray directly onto the roots (2 or 3 sprays for my whole head), and rub it in. Then I blowdry with a round brush and have gorgeous volume at the roots that lasts all day.
Remember this is a root boost product, so it isnt intended to be applied to the length of your hair. I love it and it does exactly what I need - kicks up the volume at my roots so my fine hair doesnt look flat and lifeless.
This product really wasnt what i was hoping it would be. I really thought it would bring a little volume to my hair but didnt even do that. The texture of the product is very odd and did not smell good at all. I will no purchase this in the future.2
I really liked the scent of this product but I felt like it added extra time to my morning routine and didn't make any visible difference.3
I have long, fine hair but a ton of it so I am always looking for a good volumizing/root spray. When I first used it I thought it was working well, but it left a sticky, greasy, residue behind in my roots for days. It took numerous washes without reapplying the spray to get it all out.2
