In our quest to eradicate zits, we've found that this doctor-developed formula gets the job done without causing more skin problems (think: overdrying). The serum penetrates the skin and goes straight to the source to eliminate trapped bacteria, dirt, and oil and restore damaged skin. It clears up pimples quickly and gently without irritating or drying up your complexion, which could actually lead to more oil production and blemishes. The patent-pending YS3 Complex delivers blemish-banishing ingredients, like tea tree oil, salicylic acid, and willow bark, beneath the skin’s surface to reduce inflammation and clear up redness. Bonus: The serum also tackles surface scars and hyperpigmentation.
This has a nice silky texture and a little goes a long way. I don't have a blemish problem, but i've been using this for my dark spots. I haven't noticed much improvement, but i do enjoy using the product,3
The texture isn't for me. It feels a little oily and slippery and I'm not sure what the product actually does.3
I received this in my box and did use it for the serum properties alone. I have a pretty good complexion and don't need a blemish product. I'm not sure if it works on blemishes but the serum seems to be just fine.3
I thought this would be a great product but so far I haven't noticed a difference from using it on my hyperpigmentation/scars. It also smells overwhelmingly like tea tree oil which I'm not a huge fan of. Hoping to see results soon, maybe it takes time?3
I used this once and it really dried out my face. Some of the spots I applied it to have started to itch as well. I'm going to moisturize more intensely this week and try it a few more times before I decide if my skin is just dry because of the heat or if it was indeed this product. I hope it helps reduce my acne scars but if it makes my skin itch too much I'll call it a flop.3
Currently, I use Josie Maran and Mario Badescu facial products to keep my skin clear. I added in this serum to see if it made my skin even more clear than it already is. Honestly, I haven't seen any difference. It hasn't made my skin worse, but it hasn't made it significantly better either. The scent of it is a very strong chemical smell, so I prefer my Mario Badescu Anti Acne Serum which is unscented and clears any random pimples instantly.3
I don't have much use for blemish creams at my age. But this product had a very strong chemical smell that put me off.3
I used this a few times on some spots and a thin layer over my forehead. It wasn't very effective but I really do like the consistency.3
I'm reviewing a sample and given the week I've been using it I'm not how effective this is. I've been switching up my skincare regime quite it bit recently (started using witch hazel for instance) so I'm not sure what's doing what. However I will recommend that if you do try this, if you apply it at night don't put anything over it. During the day I need to go over it with sunscreen or foundation but I feel when I started using it by itself at night it might have started working better.3
I didn't see any noticeable difference in blemishes with this.3
