In our quest to eradicate zits we’ve tried our fair share of pimple-busting products—with mixed results. This radical serum may very well be The One. The doctor-developed formula penetrates the skin, going straight to the source to eliminate trapped bacteria, dirt, and oil to restore damaged skin. It gets the job done quickly and gently, without irritating or over-drying your skin. The patent-pending YS3 Complex delivers blemish-banishing ingredients, like tea tree oil and salicylic acid, beneath the skin’s surface. Willow bark extract reduces inflammation and redness. Bonus: The serum also tackles surface scars and hyperpigmentation.
I've been using this product twice a day for the last 3 days as the sample suggested. After the first usage I woke up with more acne than i went to bed with. With some acne cleansers I have noticed it getting worse before it gets better so I kept using it and I have still noticed no improvement. It also dried out my skin (even while using a moisturizer). Would not recommend.1
Overall it didn't seem to do much. But the smell is pretty awful and the texture is rather watery.1
I used this sample for a week and my face broke out more. I had high hopes for this product but it just didn't work for me. The second that I stopped using the product I could clearly see my face clearing up a bit. Maybe there is an ingredient in this product that irritated my skin. Not sure. Hopefully other people had better luck with it. Will try something else.1
I have a trouble with cystic acne, but have managed to keep it under control over the last year. I don't typically use anything for spot treatment, and was experiencing a breakout when this sample arrived, so I thought it was fate. However, after using this product morning and night for 2 days, my breakout on my chin worsened and remained visible for several days longer than usual. If you have sensitive skin (like I do), I would not recommend this product.1
This was ok. It left a sticky residue on my face and I didn't like that.1
I didn't notice much difference when I used it. I tend to have only a few blemishes during my time of the month, so I was anxious to try it out. I found that it didn't make much difference.1
As someone who is prone to hormonal, cystic pimples, I was excited to try this product because of the ingredients. However, it has no effect on my pimples at all, even over night or after I pop a pimple to dry it out.1
Along with the fact that this product smells like fungus, it had no affect on my blemishes. I do not have cystic acne, but rather, small comedones, and this product just did nothing for them. Also, it caused my face to burn and turn red when applied. I returned this product.1
Do not be fooled by all the reviews raving about this product. It was a nightmare. I had 2 tiny blemishes that were barely forming on my chin. I got this sample, put it on and 5 hours later, I now have 10 bumps all over my chin, all pimples about to form. They're even coming on in places that were clear 5 hours ago. This formula did not work at all for my oily skin.1
I tried this product several times for spot treatment and it seemed to make it worse. I'm not sure what the activator is in this product but I think simple tea tree oil is a more affordable and effective alternative.1
