In our quest to eradicate zits we’ve tried our fair share of pimple-busting products—with mixed results. This radical serum may very well be The One. The doctor-developed formula penetrates the skin, going straight to the source to eliminate trapped bacteria, dirt, and oil to restore damaged skin. It gets the job done quickly and gently, without irritating or over-drying your skin. The patent-pending YS3 Complex delivers blemish-banishing ingredients, like tea tree oil and salicylic acid, beneath the skin’s surface. Willow bark extract reduces inflammation and redness. Bonus: The serum also tackles surface scars and hyperpigmentation.
Left an itchy dry film on my face. Very bad smell. Even if it is an effective blemish remover I would never use this again.1
I've been using this for a week. This leaves a sticky residue on my skin, and hasn't helped with blemishes, scars or zits like it claims. Will continue for another week but in my experience Mederma, Vaseline and Oxy do more in less time.1
I was really disappointed by this product and the fact that Birchbox continues to send me similar products. I did not find this serum to be effective and it actually broke me out.1
I was super excited when I saw this product in my box, it smells good and looks very professional, like it would work perfectly, but for some reason this product actually made me break out more and didn't help at all. I was very disappointed.1
Good and effective acne problems are hard to come by, and this one is a dud. Eucalyptus and/or tea tree oil are actually quite irritating for most skin types and this product carries a heavy fragrance of tea tree oil, it seems. I tried it several days in a row and it honestly made all my blemishes worse and more inflamed. Also, neither the packaging nor the Birchbox card had a list of ingredients so it's difficult to trust a skin care product when it has a strong fragrance and no listed ingredients,1
I used this on my face in a think layer thinking it could unclog any blackheads I might've head. Instead my whole face broke out and I've been dealing with trying to get these to go away for almost a week. I never break out. This stuff was horrible.1
Not sure why Birchbox gave me a product that doesn't fit my skin type at all, but I actually did get to try this because I had a rare breakout (yay?). This did absolutely nothing.1
My face is very sensitive and I tried this out once and just didn't work for me. I use dermotologist prescribed so I wasn't recommended to try this.1
This caused me to have a bad reaction. I developed bumps and Whitehead's all over my face. I tried it just to help dry out a few blemishes but it made my skin have texture and look very dull. Not for me.1
I had a small breakout a few days after I got this in my June box, so I gave it a try. I don't typically have acne and when I do it typically goes away within a few days. This time, my acne got worse and stayed longer. It took about two weeks for it to go away. The only thing I changed in my routine was using this product from the very beginning of the breakout, so I'm tempted to conclude that it was the culprit.1
