In our quest to eradicate zits we’ve tried our fair share of pimple-busting products—with mixed results. This radical serum may very well be The One. The doctor-developed formula penetrates the skin, going straight to the source to eliminate trapped bacteria, dirt, and oil to restore damaged skin. It gets the job done quickly and gently, without irritating or over-drying your skin. The patent-pending YS3 Complex delivers blemish-banishing ingredients, like tea tree oil and salicylic acid, beneath the skin’s surface. Willow bark extract reduces inflammation and redness. Bonus: The serum also tackles surface scars and hyperpigmentation.
I have extremely sensitive skin, but I will try anything once. I used this product for a week, as I had super clear skin and wanted to keep it that way. I'm now dealing with the worse break out I've had since coming back from a tournament where I wore heavy face paint for three days straight and sweated heavily. It may just be my sensitive skin, but I have promptly discontinued use.1
First things first, I don't know what specifically is in this that doesn't mix with my other products, but as soon as i layer ANYTHING on top of this it starts balling up on me. So during my bad week of the month, I tried using just this as a spot treatment without layering anything above or below, and it did NOTHING. I had to concede and go back to my $5.00 drugstore benzoyl peroxide and in three days my blemishes were at bay.
I realize that everyone's skin is different, but I just don't understand at all how this product had such high ratings.
This product wasn't really useful for me and wasn't very effective. But with that said, I have blemish acne skin and I get a dermatologist treatment every month.1
This product just irritated my skin. I used it once and it made my skin extremely red.1
I've owned this product before so I was unhappy to receive it in my box. This product doesn't work for my acne. In fact it breaks me out. I dislike all of the ecological products. They irritate my skin. I gave my ecological products away and the person who I gave them to complained they broke out sooo bad. Beware. Patch test.1
I typically get hormonal blemishes. When I received the product I had one and one that was showing up. I started applying on the blemish and 3 weeks later I see no improvement, I actually got more around the area I was treating. The product smells like tea tree oil but is ineffective.1
I don't use anyi blenish products. I usualy don't suffer from regular breakouts when i use a simple cleansing and organic makeup routine so these products don't go in my regimine.1
Left an itchy dry film on my face. Very bad smell. Even if it is an effective blemish remover I would never use this again.1
I've been using this for a week. This leaves a sticky residue on my skin, and hasn't helped with blemishes, scars or zits like it claims. Will continue for another week but in my experience Mederma, Vaseline and Oxy do more in less time.1
I was really disappointed by this product and the fact that Birchbox continues to send me similar products. I did not find this serum to be effective and it actually broke me out.1
